"We stayed in the Apartment. It slept 6, but there were 3 of us, so plenty of space. 2 bathrooms . No elevator , but only a couple of flights . No breakfast, but we ate breakfast at the Garden Center , 5 minutes drive away. Great place !Lodge location was ok. Obviously one would be driving to the Lodge . But an easy place to fine and easy access into Salisbury. Next door to the New Forest Lodge was an Indian Restaurant. We didn’t try it as we had eaten at a super restaurant in Salisbury. But the Indian restaurant was very busy ; lots of cars parked outside! Parking was easy and free at the New Forest Lodge . Big plus they allow dogs ! 10 pounds per night. Overall a good break and close to Stonehenge and the wonderful Salisbury Cathedral, which is well worth visiting and touring inside. Salisbury is well worth a visit !"

"This was a wonderful family run gastro pub with a varied menu of top quality dishes presented as worthy of a top class hotel with the added bonus of 4 well kept real ales. Even breakfast offered a choice of gourmet dishes in addition to individually boxed Kellogg’s cereals. Out twin room was modern, newly refurbished to the highest standard & included thoughtful extras, including a much needed cooling fan in the atypical 25 degree heat. Spacious free car park. All staff from the warm receptionist’s welcome to cheery barman & helpful restaurant staff were charming & eager to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was!"

"Cottage in owners georgous grounds with local pub at the end of the road (although we didn't go). Met by deers in the fields prancing.. and lovely sunsets.Warm and cosy with everything you would expect. Thought the air fryer was a good extra. Water flow off and on but Sandy gave us the heads up. Location suited us... between Romsey, Salisbury and Winchester. Would definitely stay again. "

"The cottage was lovely, clean and fresh. There was attention to detail with the welcome hamper, dog treats and bowls and having washing tabs etc all at ease was great. The communication was good with Jane from Mudhuts responding to any of our queries before and throughout our stay.We very much enjoyed the woodlands, literally on the doorstep, and were lucky that for most of our stay the weather was dry so we could be out and about. We saw ponies and a stag and enjoyed beautiful woods. The Lamb pub was very friendly. We did eat there; the quality was fair, but the staff were nice and welcomed our dog too. On a rainy day we went into Salisbury and had a wonder round, we ate lunch at Hixon, which was very nice. Great few days escape from the norm. routine. "
