This traditional Florida home is on a canal, with bikes and kayaks for your recreational use. 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and traditional Florida room overlooking a large patio and pool and our dock on the canal. We also have a screened porch for relaxing on warm sunny afternoons, or you could grab your morning cup of coffee and sit out on the dock and watch the fish jump. The perfect place to relax; lots of wildlife, beautiful beaches and a quiet neighborhood with friendly, helpful neighbors.
There is a local corner store, Post Office, bar, restaurants & shops within walking distance. You can take the free trolley around the island, to the supermarket, library and more shops and restaurants. Para-sailing, motor scooter rentals, kayaking, biking, and above all swimming in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, make this an ideal location. Attractions off the island include the Asolo Florida State Theater, Mote Marine Laboratory, Selby Botanical Gardens and upscale shopping at Saint Armand's Key. There are also several natural preserves nearby for walking and observing nature. Please note: ours is a "non-toxic" house where we use unscented products including soap and laundry detergent. We try to provide this for all guests, however, should we run out, please buy only unscented products usually called "free and clear" or unscented for use in the house. Thank you.
