"We had a suite with a kitchen that was way outdated and had very little kitchen items. The full size frig was nice. The stove top was rusty. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I'd recommend removing the kitchen, put in a wet bar and add a nice sitting area."

"Nice place. Older, but very clean. Central to everything. Views from balcony were great. Bed was comfortable."

The Washburn Inn - On the Lake

"Pros: Staff was friendly. Place was expectedly though not exceptionally clean. AC was nice. Shower was nice. Rooms were a good size. No drinking water (except bottled available) but did have coffee and hot water available. Microwave available. Ice machine available. There are places to sit and watch the sunrise/sunset on the lake. Restaurant nearby when open. Cons: No elevator to second floor. Our room did not have a lake view, but rather of the parking lot, though we didn't mind as we didn't spend a lot of time there. Beds were not the most comfortable. AC would not keep a consistent temp so we were often too warm or too cold."

"The pictures of the unit should be listed separate from the surrounding area, so it's clear what the view from the condo really is."

"Lovely hotel and I believe ALL the rooms have a wonderful view of Lake Superior! hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was terrific! Lots of food choices. We would definately stay again when in the area."

"This was a very unique property for us. It was a 2-bedroom bungalow type of accommodation. Very modern (looks like it was recently updated), clean, and the staff was very helpful."

"The entire cabin was built beautifully and exceptionally clean! If you enjoy solitude this is the place to be! Every thing you want to do is super close though.The only thing I would suggest is more light by the eating area."
