"Lovely location with many amenities nearby (spa, groceries, wineries, sightseeing). In the Beatrice apt rooms were on the second floor so large and heavy suitcases could be a challenge. We stayed in Oct so the evenings were cool and there was a pellet stove for heat. Unfortunately we were informed that the cost of heat was our responsibility and this was not mentioned in the listing. "

"Hotel is small, old and out-of-the-way but was in a beautiful Tuscan setting with a beautiful view from our balcony. There was a very reasonable restaurant across the street. The room was an excellent value for the money. The owner even gave us a ride to the train station when our early morning taxi failed to show up. "

"I don't know why it was labeled as a spa, it is not. There was a hot tub in the back yard but it wasn't filed. There was no one there that spoke English. The bed and the pillows were hard as a rock. There's also no way to really get in or out of the town unless you have a car. The staff were nice enough. The breakfast was decent. I wouldn't stay again just based on the comfortability of the room. We woke up in serious pain and it felt like we were sleeping on wood. We had a hard time falling and staying asleep."
