"The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the garden . The hotel itself needs some updating , blown windows peeling paint work in the bar reception area .The staff were polite and professional even though they were obviously understaffed ! Well done Ben you were excellent at your job . Keeping everyone served whilst also checking guests in . Unfortunately the evening meal wasn’t the best , but in the morning the breakfast more than made up for it . A selection of of pastries, fresh fruit , hot food … bacon.,sausages..eggs , fried scrambled hash browns and mushrooms !! Obviously I only had the fruit lol . The carpark was huge and free. A great place to stay if you’re exploring the area . Salisbury, Bournemouth are on 20 mins away . If we are back in the area I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here"

"The hotel was rat old fashioned in that was still much of the original wooden staircase etc but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and well lit. The only downside of our one night stay was the fact that altogether it generated 23 emails either from Expedia itself or from the hotel which was tiresome."
