"The room and reception were wonderful, and the staff provided excellent, hospitable service. However, the shuttle bus service from Yugawara Station was very disappointing. I waited for 15 minutes at the instructed location, but the bus never stopped. It drove through the rotary so quickly that I didn't even see it coming and had no chance to board. "We stayed in Villa C and it was fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a fantastic semi outdoor private onsen bath and shower. Lots of amenities provided to take as needed. We didn’t see any people at all at the property. The beds were big and soft. You do hear a lot of trains, however we used the supplied ear plugs and slept fine. Paid parking on the property. "Property is very nice. Rooms are very large for Japanese rooms. The staff in the reception area were nice but at the same time gave a weird vibe. The hotel itself had a stuffiness of “old money” . Even though the restaurant in the hotel was well reviewed we had a bad experience there. Drinks were messed up as was the servicing of the food. The experience was not good at all. To the point that we cancelled the second reservation that we had in the Japanese restaurant at the hotel. We all got massages and those were very good. Overall, had hoped for a better experience considering it was a five star hotel."

"This was my very first time visiting Atami, and staying at SOKI ATAMI made the experience truly remarkable. Our family stayed for two nights, and from start to finish everything felt thoughtful, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms were super clean, which immediately made us feel relaxed and at ease. Our favorite part was the in-room onsen—it was simply amazing. It felt like a private retreat, and we all enjoyed soaking and unwinding together. Also, there are so many things to do if you decide to drive around the area. It made our trip even more fun and convenient, and we loved exploring at our own pace. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations, and we’d happily return. Thank you to the team at SOKI ATAMI for helping make our first Atami trip so special!"
