Didn't use the kitchen but washing machine is excellent. No dryer but there is a drying rack. Good comfortable apartment. Quite dark as it is below street level. Short walk to good Plaka restaurants.

Amazing Plaka location -Great Stay Apartment!!

The location of this Plaka neighborhood apartment was absolutely incredible, a one minute walk to the main square in Plaka near all the restaurants, bars shopping and historic sites. The entrance to the Acropolis and Parthenon was a short 5-10 minute walk which was very convenient. The apartment itself had all the comforts of home with comfortable bedding, a nice kitchen area with full refrigerator, a table and chairs and our favorite perk, a washing machine!! It was on the lower level of the building and the lock was a little tricky at first, but the host communication was excellent and guided us through the entry process. The host provided restaurant recommendations, and valuable transportation information. We arrived very early way before check in, but another fantastic and unexpected feature was free bag storage at a local cafe where we met the manager who kept our bags safe while we went sightseeing. We had breakfast there and the food was fantastic!! This apartment was a fantastic value for stays in Plaka and was clean, comfortable with a prime location. With the money we saved vs. area hotels we were able to enjoy a fantastic meal (and more) at a delightful nearby restaurant with a great happy hour called Byzantine. All in all, the apartment was a great, highly affordable stay in an incredible location. We will be back!!

Excellent location

We had a good time in Plaka and the hotel location is perfect. The apartment has a washer and a kitchen, which is very convenient. The room is clean with interesting layout and comfortable for 3 persons.

We stayed at Nephiria Apartments (Plaka, Athens) from July 31–Aug 4. We arrived past midnight, so the contactless check-in with the key in a lockbox was a lifesaver. The apartment was cozy, clearly recently renovated, and had a nice bedroom, den, bathroom, and a kitchen stocked with basics — even a drip coffee machine with grounds (though the espresso feature didn’t work). The hot water was off by default, but it was easy to switch on using the instructions at the entrance. The included wifi was fast and the smart TV was nice. The hosts sent us a friendly, detailed message the day before check-in with clear entry instructions plus lots of restaurant and activity recommendations. They were responsive to our questions and even to small requests. A couple of downsides: the mattress was just a thin foam pad that sloped toward the middle, so it wasn’t the most comfortable (though after long days exploring, we still slept fine). The bigger issue was finding multiple dead cockroaches each time we came back from being out. We messaged the hosts, who told us they fumigate regularly and sent a cleaner the next day to remove them, but it definitely put a damper on the stay. Overall, the location and layout were great, the hosts were kind and responsive, but the pest issue made it hard for us to fully enjoy the place.

お風呂のボイラー以外は最高

まずお風呂の入り方について書かなくてはなりません。お風呂に入るには部屋の玄関を入ってすぐ左にあるブレーカーで、ボイラーと書かれたスイッチをONにしなければなりません。この説明が無かったので、てっきり水を浴びなければならないのかと思ったほどです。この説明は宿主がするべきだと思いますが…けれどその他の点については最高です！ ただ、最終日に宿を出る時、宿の建物の扉が内側から開かなくなっていました…どういうことなんでしょう？何が起きている？パニックになりました。その日は帰国日だったのです！ もらった鍵はどれもささりません。万事休すかと思いましたが、鉄扉のプラスチック部分は開くことを発見。プラスチックの扉を開けて、鉄格子から腕を伸ばして、外側の鍵穴に鍵を差して、なんとか開けることが出来ました。 他の日はこんなこと無かったのに、なぜ帰国する日に…とにかく恐ろしい経験でした。他のサービスは本当に良いんですけれどね… 宿のすぐ近くから空港連絡バスが出る広場がありますから、交通の便については最高です。パンテオン神殿も歩いて行けますよ。
