Pros:
Was perfect for a one night stay
Quiet property
Cooking facilities
Clean
Good folio of info on property and local area inside property
Cons:
We were not provided the check in code prior to arrival which meant we had to contact the provider at 2:05pm to obtain the code
No wifi included
Pool was freezing
Having to pay for WI FI is like 20 years ago.
A. B and B where breakfast is not supplied unless you let them know the day before and have to also pay extra is inconvenient?
Other than that a great property nice and quiet.
Our 3 day stay cost $540 and ultimately we were living in a "teenagers retreat" under the main house. The guests upstairs were ridiculously noisy and the "apartment" didn't even come with air-conditioning (was advertised as air-conditoned on this site). My partner needed somwhere cool to recover from chemo which is why we chose this property. No response from the owners when contacted. Ridiculously expensive wi-fi - given the amount paid for the "apartment". Expensive laundry facilities. Faulty appliances that almost tripped the circuit. Unsafe bathroom - water from the shower spills over the bathroom floor (no bathmat) and made for an almost visit to the Atherton hospital. The unit was clean and tidy but that was the only positive note of our experience. Can not recommend this property as it was definitely not value for money.
We booked the whole house and had expectations that were not met. Generally the place was beautiful though.
First, my child wanted to use the advertised bunk bed, however, that room was locked off due to the numbers we booked for. This was not discussed with us at all. We're all friends/ family, but not everyone was in a couple to start with.
Second, and more disturbing for us all was that the "whole house" rental did NOT COME WITH TOWELS. The property covid cleaning info mentioned towels in the cleaning blurb, but that was apparently just copy-paste from the single room rentals. We searched high and low and could see some in a locked cupboard, but this detail was in an email that I'd been too busy pre-break to actually take in. A friend in Cairns broke into my home and grabbed enough towels for me and my guests, so our second night stay involved showers. I booked this for a relaxing weekend for my birthday and there was no sympathy from the owner/s. We were told that the local Target would sell us some.
Lastly, and I'm writing this review 2 years later... there was a separate unit underneath the "house", so even booking the "whole house" does not give sole use of the property outside of them locking away rooms.
It was definitely worth the visit. But this is feedback that's weighed on my mind for 2 years. We still randomly bring up the towel thing. Even a work client who was at the Yungaburra markets that weekend will mention it.
No shoes inside. Security cams outside.
Rapidité dans la réservation et l'envoi des informations d'accès. Chambres spacieuses et confortables et propres. Environnement très joli bien arboré. Nous avons adoré

Liked: Cleanliness
We were downstairs in the Ulysses Room which was a beautifully finished but dark with absolutely no views. The large large double entrance doors at the foot of the bed were unusual.
There appears to be little or no noise insulation from the wooden floors above, allowing noise from movement of guests above.
We were happy with our choice of room. The rooms were clean and fresh.
The only fault I had was the shower head needs attention and a warm blanket would of been helpful as it was cold. The small quilt would of been for a single bed not a the king bed. ☺️
Went there for the views as per photos advertised, but those are just photoshopped :(

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Gorgeous surroundings, check in instructions were clear but impersonal. Bed was comfy and shower has great water pressure. There was a rising damp smell in our room unfortunately - possibly due to the amount of rain the area has had lately, but could do with a good airing/drying out. Shared kitchen facilities were good and well organised.
High on a hill with sweeping verandahs, gentle breezes and rainforest views. A beautiful B & B. Spotlessly clean with very comfy beds and a nice cosy feel.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
There were a few little things that made our stay less than ideal. No air con in the bedroom, decor was very plain, shower head was pretty lame, no wifi unless you pay extra and most windows don't have fly screens. The view from the verandah could be alot better, but instead you just have a wall of trees mostly, and out to one side you look out over the water tanks with a little pocket of view in the distance. The laundry is coin operated, which is just annoying, and you are not supposed to use it from 9-11am, which is inconvenient.
The property was perfect for our big family, big bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms, lovely big verandah with outdoor tables and chairs. Living areas were roomy too.
The couple of negatives for our stay were that we had to supply bath towels, the ventilation was poor, having to force windows open for fresh air, and the air-conditioning was unfortunately not working in the lounge area. One other negative was the laundry was only coin operated, which was tricky with young children and staying a week.
Otherwise it was a perfect house for our stay. Staff were very nice and helpful when we contacted them about a couple of issues.
Thankyou for having us, we did have a lovely visit.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Unfortunately too many cockroaches for me! I turned back the bed to find live cockroaches in the sheets. I was in the downstairs unit and you hear about of noise from upstairs footsteps.
Your venue was advertised as a bed and breakfast. But there was no breakfast, and when we called you, you did not respond. The beds were too soft. Overall, just an average experience, but a lot of disappointments.
This is not a B and B facility, no breakfast was provided, although Cont Breakfast could be provided for extra fee!! From the location and setting it appeared the stay would be nice and quiet. However the room was lower level with wooden floors above where other guests were quite noisy walking around all night and very early morning. Downstairs facilities were very good though. Other rooms had to share kitchen and lounge facilities, hence the continued noise. Would not stay again, have booked elsewhere for return trip.
