"Nice quiet room with a wooded view and a nice carport, and working Wifi. SImple amenities in town, but the grocery was well stocked seeing as there was a grill with each unit and a bigger than mini fridge. Would recommend if you want an off the main drag and less commercialized experience."

"The cabin is very private on a pond. The lighting options are excellent everywhere inside. We enjoyed the screened in porch every day in the morning and often in the evening. The whole place was cozy and well thought out. The recliners were a great place to relax in the evening. The kitchen was equipped with enough plates, utensils, pans, etc. to prepare all of our meals. We cooked chicken for the week on the very functional and maintained gas grill.Everything was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of.One morning on the way to class at the Folk School, a tree was down across the road. We contacted the owner, and they were out there in 15 minutes and had it cleared out very quickly.The 10 minute drive to the Folk School made this a great place to stay while taking a class there.We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area."

"The cabin is in a great location in a pretty valley next to the creek. We loved the back deck, listening to the sounds. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. It was a cozy and comfortable space . Don't miss the deli at the Hanging Dog General Store! We would definitely return. Thanks for sharing this lovely space with us."

"What an absolutely fabulous place!! This was probably the most pleasant cabin we’ve ever had the opportunity to really enjoy.. The chalet looks nicer than the pictures. Everything was clean, organized, private, peaceful and comfortable (i.e. bedding, seating in living area, etc.).And, of course, the amazing view of the water was worth it all, Spending time just listening to the sound of the river was so therapeutic. The location is one mile up the mountain on a bumpy dirt road, allowing you to be away from everything, yet still close enough to town approximately 15 minutes away. If the opportunity presents itself, we would never hesitate to book this place again."
