Little Bit of Paradise

Travel over the river and through the woods to a little bit of vintage Colorado paradise! Located right off Highway 285, on the grounds of the Bailey Lodge and Riverdale Village in Bailey, Colorado is the Little Bit Lodge, with the Pike National Forest right in the backyard. Enjoy a quiet respite only an hour from Denver, in this one bedroom, one bath lodge. It can accommodate kids with two additional cots. It has a full kitchen to allow cooking or you can enjoy Bailey's restaurants just two miles down the road. The central location enables you to easily visit Conifer, Evergreen, Georgetown, Breckenridge, and Kenosha Pass to see fall colors. Bailey is a joy itself, a true unspoiled original mountain town. Nearby hiking, zipline, camping, and don't miss the beauty of Wellington Lake. Amenities at the lodge include outdoor community pool in the summertime, 11 acres to explore, playground, community BBQ and picnic gazebo, the Platte River, and a catch and release fishing pond. Enjoy this beautiful resort mountain environment as a quick getaway from the city for some rest and relaxation or an outdoor adventure. Or you can just sit on the porch and stare at the beautiful mountain scenery while listening to the river and smelling clean pine scented air. We had a great 2 night stay at the cabin near Bailey. Communication with Linda was great and the check in was super easy. It was well stocked, lots of fun decor and very peaceful. Nice and clean. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was comfy and cozy. It was such a relaxing and peaceful getaway spot. The scenery and Mountain View’s were spectacular. Our host was very helpful when needed and met all our requests. We enjoyed all the puzzles, movies, books & magazines, games, and activity books provided.

Family Visit

Little Bit of Paradise was a perfect solution for my visit. I have family in the area and the location was ideal. My only regret is that I didn't have as much time to enjoy the property as I would have liked. Hopefully, I'll have an opportunity to stay again in the future and spend more time on the porch.

Cutest Little Getaway

We loved staying at this cozy cottage. The location was beautiful and the cottage itself was adorable. It was very clean and organized. We loved that they had everything for cooking and cleaning. They also had a variety of games and things to do. The neighbors were all very friendly. One of our favorite things was having breakfast on their picnic table on the lake. Highly recommend.

Loved the cozy, comfortable cabin, within easy driving distance of beautiful aspen trees! My mom especially loved the gas fire. A neighbor helpfully told aby a nearby county road where I could park and get my daily walk in. Might consider adding aluminum foil, plastic wrap to your supplies,for leftovers, etc. Thanks!!

Denise and I are quickly becoming the number one renters at this location (Third stay). Relatives live in Bailey and this place is a blessing to us. Easy access to 285, Bailey, and the mountains. Have not used a lot of the amenities (play ground, pool, and fishing), but we see others doing so. Hope one day to just sit on the front porch and relax. Thanks.

Cozy cabin

I stayed only one night, and it worked out very well. I would recommend with a couple of caveats. First one is I visited in the middle of summer and the cabin does not have AC. It cooled enough at night and I was able to open all the windows and sleep comfortably. Second is that the cabin is right on the highway, set back 50-100 yards. But with the windows open I could hear traffic rolling by. Bonus points for a washer and dryer available for use. I had been on the road for over a week when I stayed here, and it was a big help to be able to clean some dirty clothes!

We love this place. This is our fourth or fifth time staying here. It is completely furnished with everything you need for a great visit to Bailey. Right off of Highway 85. Mountain views are great. The small neighborhood has a pool. The children play ground is right outside the front door. Everyone is nice to you. Planning our next visit now.
