"I knew this was going to be an excellent stay when we saw the infamous Burt Reynolds centerfold mural behind the front desk, Loverboy playing in the background & amazing art on the walls. The rooms were spacious with an artist loft vibe. The entire staff was really friendly & helpful. Breakfast tacos were amazing. Centrally located & walking distance to the arts district. Will be back! "

"I came in expecting to receive the room i reserved but was hit with bs from the front desk person! Proceeds to tell me that my room was sold to someone else and the only available room was a smoking room i was very upset. But because i had already checked in and had no were else to go i had no choice but to suffer the three nights in a horrible smoking room. Also the neighbors are rude letting there kids run up and down the halls like it was an elementary school. I never complain but i felt robbed by this place."

"Checked in is anytime after three. Got there at 430. Front desk said they had one clean room but it was next to housekeeping. We decided to take it anyways. Went up and room was dirty. Towels everywhere and bed slept in. Went back down stairs and was told we had to wait or we could go somewhere else. Terrible service."

"Getting a bit worn but still a good value for the area"

"Don't get a room on the 2nd or third levels on the highway side if you want to get a good night's sleep. The sound proofing on these rooms is terrible and highway noise is constant. Worst at night with motorcycles or trucks down-shifting. First time I've been place on that side after many times staying at the resort...never again will I allow myself to be placed on the highway side. Bar food menu is becoming boring."

"Although small, the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was a little inconvenient but not terrible. I would have rather have not had to pay, but $15.00 for overnight parking is not too bad either. The entire facility still has a really cool 1920's feel to it. I wonder if anyone has had any "paranormal" experiences? The cool little restaurant and bar in the lobby is pretty awesome. It is also within a very short walk to a few other bars and restaurants. We will definitely be stating there again!"

"Newly renovated rooms are excellent, old ones are okay. I upgraded to new room after a day and really enjoyed the stay. I love the location because it is closer to airport, and in the center to west, east or south loops. I would highly recommend anyone to upgrade to the new rooms."
