Harbour Hotel St Ives
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel, wonderful position and stunning views of the bay. I was a bit dubious about the valet parking, but it worked well (and I wouldn't have wanted to fit my car into the car park!). All the staff were helpful and friendly and my single room was well equipped and comfortable. Having a massage in the hotel spa before we left on our last day was the icing on the cake. Big thank you to everyone at the Harbour Hotel and Spa."

"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."

"We absolutely loved this house. It has such a nice feel to it. We had a fabulous uninterrupted view of the eclipse from the 2nd floor lounge window and there was lots of room for family gatherings."

"Lovely week in Number6Has all you need for a stay in St IvesSmall, cute & cosy. The barn door was my fave feature :) lots of art work and lovely ornaments. Fab to have a outside space to hang clothes and drip dry wetsuits etcBeing able to drop luggage off right outside and having a parking space nearby was great! Directions given were realy helpful and spot on! Great communication from Michael & Juliette prior and on our last day. Great location to get to the ‘high street’ and to the harbour, literally 2-3 minute walk straight down the road. We love St Ives and Number6!"

Old Arch Cottage, The Digey - 100m From Beach & Town - Free WiFi - Pets

"We had the most wonderful week in Old Arch Cottage, our first visit to this cottage. The location of the cottage is just perfect and catered to all our needs. Literally two minutes walk to Porthmeor Beach and one minute walk to Fore Street and then a bit further to the harbour. The welcome pack was gratefully received. The cottage was very cosy and well supplied and surprisingly quiet, despite it being on the main walk between Fore Street and Porthmeor Beach. Dropping our luggage at the end of the road was quick and easy, with a short walk to the cottage and the little bench opposite the front door was nice to sit on and enjoy the sun while watching the people pass by. One minor complaint, but nothing too serious - it's a struggle to take a shower in the small downstairs shower room as it's so small, but useful as a downstairs toilet or if you need to use it to shower off sand and sea. It most certainly wouldn't stop up returning again. Thank you, we hope to be back!"

"Great location, very close to porthmeor beach, was easy for the kids as less than a minutes walk. Has everything you need, and fairly quiet. Comfy sofa and smart tv was handy as has Netflix etc. towels were also provided, iron, hair dryer, outside tap for sand, comfy beds. Parking was handy, just a little difficult to get to with the one way systems now in place, so unloading and loading was a challenge as you feel in the way of pedestrians when pulling up. The parking was a few mins walk away but didn’t need it once parked up for the week. Kitchen provided everything we needed and has a washer/dryer. We had a lovely stay here overall"

"Found the overall state of repair poor for the money paid. Living room walls dirty, bedroom paint peeling from ceiling and bathroom not fully clean (shower). I have pictures of all the areas I have mentioned ."

"We loved our stay in St. Ives. The property was immaculate and well set up with everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. We also appreciated the size of the kitchen; it was easy for us to cook all our meals. It is located up a steep hill which wasn’t a problem at all for us but perhaps something to bear in mind. Other than that, the location was great, near all the beaches and the high street (co-ops) and check-in/out was easy and smooth. Thank you!"
