"Beautiful Castle, fantastic food and good service. We adore Castles and this is a proper one and given it was 27 degrees when we stayed the air-conditioning in the room was an unexpected benefit. Our room was beautiful. The only criticism I could make was that the arrangement of meeting in the drawing room 30 minutes before dinner was a bit of a shambles with no one offering us a drink or menus for 20 minutes, then collecting us to take us to our table only for them to say they hadn't meant to take us and would we sit down again. However, this didn't distract from an amazing stay, and the food was really top draw."
