"Experience depends on the room you get. Corner room is like dorm, middle room is 3 star. One person gets a two bedroom place, and you can not have a guest. "
"Hotel is next to the main tram line T1 in Istanbul which is a tourist godsend and 10mins easy walk to the nearest M2 metro station. Grand Bazaar a couple of hundred yards away and most of the main tourist attractions are at most 10-15mins walk from the hotel - or 2-3mins on the T1.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Only slight downside was that the breakfast could have been more plentiful"
"I arrived at the hotel and they did not give me a room I had to wait in the hotel from 5am for a room. The electricity was so bad it would cut off for several hours even at night so the room would get super hot and we wouldn’t have any lights making it unsafe. There was bed bugs and we all got bites all over us and allergic reactions. I’m very unhappy."
"We were looked after very well, the first night I found the area a bit intimidating but got used to it and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the breakfast was very nice. I would go back there x"

Hotel Arcadia Blue Istanbul
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was very comfortable. The room was very nice and spacious. Beautiful view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.Rooftop restaurant was very nice. Great 4-day stay."
"This was my first time in Turkey and we stayed about 9 days. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so close to everything. We walked almost everywhere: Hagia Sophia, Blue Dome Mosque, Basilica (which were 20 feet from the hotel), Grand Bazaar, and close by to restaurants that you did not have to use or pay for any transportation. (Avoid taxis at ALL costs, if you can). It is better to find one of the all day rental companies with the black vans and pay a set fee before you use the taxi. Also, the tram was cheap and quick. The staff were very nice at the hotel and the breakfast was very good. If you eat their breakfast, honestly, you won't need a lunch. They had such a good assortment of choices: soup, eggs, Turkish sausage, olives, yogurts, breads, fruit, veggies, and the CHEESES!!!! This hotel will pay for itself. The staff were helpful and all spoke English on some level. The hotel is not modern, but Istanbul is an old city. It was charming to stay at and the windows facing the street would open to let us get a cool breeze which I appreciated very much. The other room we got had a Juliette balcony which was an A+! The hotel provided us with a very user friendly map at check-in and it saved us so much time and helped us choose the places to visit. I read the posts from some of the other experiences after I made the reservation, but before we stayed here. I really can genuinely recommend this hotel for you and your family. Safe Travels."
"The staff make the experience here fabulous, the majority of the time the staff were amazing. There were a few language barriers which meant we were overcharged for in room service but nothing too much. The whole decor and atmosphere of the whole was wonderful. We regretted not using the restaurant and will deffo stay here again next time we're in Istanbul. The pool, sauna and steam room were fab! "
"The hotel is ideally located by the seaside, within walking distance of major attractions in Istanbul. Breakfast is included, and despite being complimentary, the variety and taste are excellent. All the staff greet guests with smiles and courtesy. After being disappointed with the service in Antalya, I was truly healed in Istanbul thanks to this hotel."
"This is one of the most pleasant, peaceful hotels i have stayed in duding the last several years. The staff is patient, no non sense, and helpful with assistance where needed. This is an excellent location. The pricing is better than most. And, things are well organized and well taken care of in all the shared areas. Splendid."
