"Room was clean but not sparkling, could do with a deep clean but overall good. Staff was very helpful when needed. Parking was easy and convenient. The property's best features were the location and amenities. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat."

"The Torquay Hotel has an excellent location, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks—everything we tried was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel warm and easy. The room itself, however, was very old and definitely in need of updating. While it seemed generally clean, the carpets were quite worn and felt a bit gross. The bathroom had good water pressure, which was a plus, but the windows had a lot of spider webs around them, even though they were high up. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential thanks to its location, great staff, and solid food and drink options, but the rooms would really benefit from some refreshing and deeper attention to detail."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at Qii Lodge. It was so peaceful and cozy in the cabin. The walk on the property was a lovely 20 minute amble through temperate rainforest. Thank you for such a lovely retreat! "
