"Our stay was wonderful!!Maria (the owner) was very responsive to our needs and questions. Let me begin by saying that the pictures do the property little justice. This place is a hidden gem!!It is at end of road and very private. It is near downtown and approximately 15 minutes to nearby McCaysville and 10 minutes to Bear Claw vineyard. The place is a not modern but tastefully decorated with comfy furnishings and beds. Well kept, clean and plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet and relaxing spot. Our favorite is the swing on the porch and the Creekside fire-pit (don’t forget your S’morse supplies. Stressless & mesmerizing creek! Our family will be back for sure as we would like to be here in springtime or summer. Thank you for opening this special place to families like ours!"

"We love a place where we park our car and don't leave. It was so nice and peaceful by the river. We never saw another person even with having other houses nearby but still private. The covered porch with rocking chairs and a swing with the sound of the rushing water then put a hot tub under the stars the 2 days was not enough. Looking forward to a return trip. The kitchen was well equipped and appreciate the extra spices and such. Used to think not having a dishwasher we were roughing it. But we were not. Did not catch and release any fish but fishing from your deck priceless. Cabin is close to Blueridge and other points of interest . This was our 44 anniversary and the porch, river and hot tub was all that was needed to relax."

"From the very beginning of booking the host was very responsive to my questions, we’ve been anticipating this trip for a few months. Once we arrived we were blown away, it’s absolutely beautiful here. Everything was clean, everything worked, beautiful setting and so peaceful. The host called to make sure we arrived safely which meant a lot to me. All the rooms were clean, everything you need for cooking, beautiful creek right out back to fish from. The fire pit area is amazing, I just can’t say enough good things about it. We absolutely plan on booking this again and bringing our kids who love to fish as well. It’s close enough to town for groceries (Walmart nearby), close to Blue Ridge and the train station which is a must do. Yet you feel so secluded here, it’s beyond peaceful. Our only disappointment is we can’t live here! We celebrated our 21 year anniversary here."

"Perfect for a romantic get away! The cottage was very clean and we loved the decor. We had the most relaxing weekend. The location is secluded and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. There is a short walk from the parking area to the cottage, but we didn’t mind at all. The town with some restaurants and a great bar (Bar 21) is close by."
