"The hotel is super convenient to the beach and the cruise port. Because it is a beach hotel, it has a little bit of a "musk" to it, but that would not deter us from staying again."

"Amazing place. Completely outfitted for our stay. Quiet, calm and an amazing view of the beach and the ship channel. The bite out the back looked over a bird watering area with a great variety of big birds and there was a spotting telescope already set up to get really good views. Something that shocked us was the variety of items already there to use—every kitchen item you can think of, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee pods, 2 different types of coffee machines and a hot water boiler. Didn’t even look until the last day and found beach umbrella, chairs, etc. pool was great too. We will return here—one of the few places we can say that about. Host responded in a few minutes to any questions. Love this place."

"The vibe of Hotel Lucine is exactly what I was looking for - mid 20th century, beach front. Quaint setting. Friendly, helpful staff. Coffee bar and fruit-infused water in the lobby on a small, intimate scale. Quiet, relaxing during the week, but on the weekend, the rooftop bar fired up with live music amidst the sea breezes and the full, orange moon. We truly felt immersed. I can find a large, chain hotel anywhere, but this one really says "Galveston"."

"We had a fantastic stay! The location was absolutely perfect—the boardwalk to the beach is right beside the home, making it incredibly easy to get to and from the beach. And the beach views were probably our favorite part. They were amazing!The house worked perfectly for our group of eight. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Everything was very clean when we arrived and looked just as it did in the pictures.The host was also great—very responsive and easy to get in touch with whenever we had a question.We had an amazing time in Galveston and made some great memories here. We would absolutely recommend this home, especially for a larger group looking for plenty of space, beautiful views, and easy beach access. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves back in Galveston."
