"Breakfast was amazing. Location was super convenient. Pool area was lovely with views over the city. In the rooms the bathroom was getting a bit run down and the shower leaked all over the floor but the air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfy. My only complaint was that we could hear the music in the rooftop restaurant in our room quite loudly and they played the same instrumental songs every night. "

"Upon check-in I immediately noticed that the unit (2F) was not cleaned well and had maintenance issues. I saw stains, marks, and damage throughout the apartment, making it a very uncomfortable stay. As other reviewers have mentioned, the area is not as developed and the view from the bedroom was a very rundown set of buildings. The last straw for me was that the bedsheets were stained. I was given a WhatsApp contact number after I raised my concerns (immediately after check in) and nothing was addressed except that someone brought new sheets and towels that I had to change them myself. I would not recommend La Cuadra in Casco Viejo despite the positive reviews."

"The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. The location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the view of all the boats waiting to enter the canal and the beautiful pool. I would highly recommend it."

"Place is exactly as described. Check-in/out was easy and simple. The water infront of the hotel recedes substantially so the view is normally just mud. Hotel is close to everything in the old town, but moreso in the area of abandoned buildings. Locals are friendly and area is very safe to walk around even late at night. Lots of dining's options around including a great rooftop/ restaurant few steps away (CasaCasco). Would stay again! "
