"We have been at different Marriott’s in the past, never an issue, regrets to say this one was not the best experience. First we booked for two double beds, bed sizes were more like single king size, two people can’t sleep there. Secondly as soon as you check out you are not allowed to use their pool (waiting for later flight after 11am check out time. We were told once checked out you are literally out, showers none available…which is weird for any hotel. Last but no least, two coffees A$27? I know HK can be expensive but felt ripped off plus coffee was not even that nice…hope to see an improvement next time…this was more like 5/10 experience."

"Really enjoyed our stay at The Emperor Hotel. The hotel was located at a very convenient spot for us; a very comfortable walking distance to Causeway Bay and Wan Chai station. Getting to Ocean Park by bus was quick and convenient too. The room was comfortable, had AC and sockets were placed conveniently beside the beds (including plug sockets and USB plug ins). The bathroom sink consisted of a hot tap and cold tap making it easy to use; a non slip mat for the shower was also a plus. Despite us not having breakfast and leaving the hotel/starting the day sporadically during our stay, it never ceased to amaze me how on track the housekeeping was. We were never disturbed and always came back to a nice and clean room. The view was also magnificent and was particularly pleased with the ceiling (close to) floor window. The beds were very comfortable and the staff at reception were nice and helpful with queries. The only downsides were the fridge in the room was not cold and the room overall was slightly cramped. Despite this, I will definitely be booking with The Emperor Hotel again during my next Hong Kong stay. "

"The front desk was ok. However the conditions of the room were horrible. There were scratches all over the furniture and the window was very dirty. The room was musky and honestly looked like a motel room."

"The breakfast was not fresh and did not have many options for consume and it did not exceed my expectation. Although the staff provided fair service but I asked for 115V adapter to charge my devices and they did not provide it. In addition, the room condition was awesome and super clean and the air condition was working pretty good too and I could not complaint about it. "
