"Very friendly, hard-working staff, clean room, Wi-Fi, air con, good breakfast. Great position for accessing the many eateries and the shops on Via San Vincenzo, which runs just behind the hotel or on Via XX Settembre at the front. You collect your key from the 1st floor, from the sister hotel, Hotel Bel Soggiorno then go up with the lift to the 5th Floor. My room was on the quiet courtyard side."

"Nice room, oustanding gym, perfect breakfast, suboptimal bathroom, my shower lacked the door seal so after each shower the bathroom was flooded, The heater in the bathroom was leaking as well. But overall nice place to stay."

"An excellent, reasonably priced, well-located 3 star hotel. My sister and I loved it. We got a Volabus from the airport to P. Di Ferrari and it was a short walk from there. The hotel is in a great location on a main road, which for us felt safe especially walking back at night. It has a cute shopping street behind it and some bigger high street type shops on the main road. Genova Brignole station, Porto D’Antico, Via Garibaldi and many other sites are easy to walk to (10-15 mins). The breakfast was fantastic bearing in mind that it was a 3 star hotel. Our room was clean, had a balcony and everything we needed. It is an old building full of original features / character that we found charming. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Cons: there were no cons for us (we would 100% stay there again) however there are some things you might want to consider. I wouldn’t say it’s suitable for young families, if you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues. The hotel shares a building with other businesses so reception is on the 2nd floor. The lift only carries 2 people and sometimes is out of order (for us the original lift was a quirky plus point!) so be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs to your room. Reception is open until 11pm and after that you use codes to access the building and your floor. The bathroom was well equipped/clean, but fairly small. For us the hotel was the perfect base to explore Genoa."
