Such a great location in Boppard, with easy access to explore the town itself, and the rest of the Rhine region. The house is appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay, with nearby groceries, parking, and shops. Our 3 nights went far too quickly, hopefully we can come back some time!
Andrea‘s place is really unique and a great way to introduce you to Boppard. It’s got Roman walls inside that set the mood for this Rhine town and it’s got huge rooms, including a jacuzzi tub and two outside sitting areas. Immaculately clean, and Andrea is easy to reach. Great location, too.
This property is even better than we anticipated. The apartment is equipped with anything and everything you need for a short or long stay. It is located in a quiet area, but still within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the train station.
Boppard was a nice surprise. It is a quaint, charming, comfortable village and is a great home base for exploring the upper middle Rhine valley. Andrea is a wonderful host with great communication. The home is just as described. It is spacious, clean, and well functioning. Yes, there are stairs, and yes, you hear trains, but we slept great and were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching local life go by. We also enjoyed walking through town and along the river all hours of the day and night. The local residents were fun and kind. The train station is an easy walk from the home.
3-Story, 2-bd, 2-bath conveniently located in Boppard.
The house was a perfect place to spread out and relax, while exploring the Rhine by car and boat. The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby. Bring your own toiletries. Beds are on upper floors using a spiral staircase. The bathroom with the shower is on the ground floor. The bathroom with the tub is on the middle floor. This was not an issue for us, but good to know. It was a short walk to the river to take the boat or car ferry. Excellent alternative to a hotel.
We were three adult family members looking for a base to explore the Rhine Valley and beyond. This property did not disappoint. The home is very well equipped, was spotlessly clean and was perfect for our group. Communication with Andrea was great, as was access on the first day. The kitchen is more than adequate with all the essentials to see you through a holiday. As others have mentioned, the futons in the lounge are not the most comfortable but we spent most of our time outside in the lovely yard. Our visit coincided with some very hot weather. As such the top floor of the house did get very hot. The AC unit did work well to manage this, without it things would have been unbearable. The town of Boppard is fabulous with many places to eat and drink and also the railway station for easy access elsewhere. We didn't use the sauna or jacuzzi (due to the heat outside!) but they looked of good quality. Car parking now costs 6 euros per day (8am - 6pm) on the top storey of the nearby 2-storey car park - much more to park on the ground level! The neighbours were lovely offering a friendly wave as we returned to the house - Der Fenstergucker was a real character, it was just a shame that he wasn't 'on duty' when it came time for us to leave and for us to say goodbye. In summary, a lovely home that we thoroughly recommend for short or longer stays alike.
Great communication with the host, the house was well equipped and clean. Good facilities in the house. You do hear the trains but it did not bother us at all. Easy access to the town centre and the Rhein promenade for walking or catching a cruise. Short walk to the supermarkets or the train station.
Spacious loved the fact we had a choice of front terrace or back courtyard depending on the time of day. Clean with comfortable beds ( though I gave the water bed to my daughter and S in L). Plenty of hot water. Well positioned for the car park and the town centre. Andrea contacted us upon arrival and advised us re using tourist discount tickets which was helpful l.
Very nice appartment, good host. The appartment was clean and had everything one can imagine for having a great holiday. Only remark is the road and the railway nearby (behind the thick walls). For the rest: super!
This property is in an excellent location for exploring all the Rhine has to offer
We did day trips by car and boat tours up and down the river. The town of Boppard is lovely. Great atmosphere, lots to eat and do
The villa was excellent, everything you need. Air conditioning could be required if always as hot as when we were there.
Alles, was man benötigt war vorhanden.
