"If I had to use one word to describe the Chaled, MAGICAL. So calming and beautiful. The Chaled was well stocked and so very comfortable. Ashley & Jeb are wonderful hosts! The location was perfect for a home base to go up and play in the mountains. I will be coming back. Thanks to the hosts for hosting such a magical property."

"What a beautiful location! You are up, away in the mountains, feeling rather secluded. There are a few properties nearby, but you arent aware of their proximity when sitting out.*That being said, it is a gravel road, don't be surprised! Some of the reviews I had read were ridiculous.This home was lovely, thoughtful touches throughout, very clean and comfortable. I always felt cool and comfortable, even when temperatures were in the 90s.This was a beautiful way to experience Boulder. Close enough we could pop into town, but not where we were in the "hustle bustle".Donna was very thorough in check-in/out instructions, any questions or concerns we had were covered in her notes.Having been a cleaner for many years for Air BnB, i found them to be neither outlandish or atypical. We were able to easily communicate with her, noting, yes, we are in the mountains so don't be surprised if cell service is unavailable. Enjoy the scenery, enjoy your company. There are landlines if you need!This was a perfect way to end our summer"

"Beautiful Mountain RetreatWe absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain home! The house had so much character and charm, and it was even more beautiful in person. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the setting was incredible.Our three boys especially loved exploring the creek that runs right alongside the house and taking in the beautiful mountain surroundings.This house is truly a special place. It was peaceful, cozy, full of character, and the perfect setting for a family getaway. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique mountain retreat, and we would love to stay here again!"

"This modern home in the hills was perfect in every way. Stunning views, regular wildlife sightings (deer and bucks!), and stocked with top-notch amenities. It’s peacefully secluded yet only 10–15 minutes from Boulder.Tip: Cell service fades on the way up, but the Wi-Fi at the house works great. An AWD/SUV is also a smart choice for wet weather or winter months. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"If you're staying in the mountains, the drive up is expected--this one up from Boulder is especially fun and spectacular--many places to pull off and hike and check out the vistas. Home easy to find. Very easy access. Love the "homey" touches; i.e. artwork, plant varieties, OODLES of books, lots of relaxing outdoor places to sit. Beds are comfortable. Jacuzzi and game room are bonuses. Enjoyed the pulldown screen with the projector. Lakefront is a bit of a misnomer--more like lake view--actually 'reservoir'view--but still beautiful. Host was incredible accessible and responsive via text."
