"This modern home in the hills was perfect in every way. Stunning views, regular wildlife sightings (deer and bucks!), and stocked with top-notch amenities. It’s peacefully secluded yet only 10–15 minutes from Boulder.Tip: Cell service fades on the way up, but the Wi-Fi at the house works great. An AWD/SUV is also a smart choice for wet weather or winter months. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"Great location - centered between Boulder and beautiful hiking. The “chaled” as the hosts call it, the hobbit house as my husband I referred to it, is charming, clean, well appointed and well supplied. My husband and I flew in and barely had time to change clothes and head back down into Boulder for an event. The host had snacks and sparkling water available for us. Life saver! Our last evening there we sat out on the patio watching deer and wild turkeys strut by and listened to thunder and rain. Incredibly relaxing. The home looks just as depicted on the website. Hope to come back again soon!"

"If you're staying in the mountains, the drive up is expected--this one up from Boulder is especially fun and spectacular--many places to pull off and hike and check out the vistas. Home easy to find. Very easy access. Love the "homey" touches; i.e. artwork, plant varieties, OODLES of books, lots of relaxing outdoor places to sit. Beds are comfortable. Jacuzzi and game room are bonuses. Enjoyed the pulldown screen with the projector. Lakefront is a bit of a misnomer--more like lake view--actually 'reservoir'view--but still beautiful. Host was incredible accessible and responsive via text."

"This is the best VRBO experience we have ever had. The house is immaculate, location and instructions are readily available by way of labels and easy access to the host. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and serve - and includes coffee, spices, and basics like salt and pepper. The view of the sunset out the living room and from the back deck were stunning and a nightly joy. The house is an easy location for a run into Nederland, and many great hikes start nearby. If you have kids, the house has toys, games, a high chair, and a pack-and-play (upon request) that the hosts will even set up for you if you want. Don't hesitate!"
