Westbeach Holiday Apartments

"We stayed in the Westbeach apartments for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We had a 3 bed apartment for our family of 4, plus my father in law. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. Beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen/lounge layout is always a win for us as we love open plan. The balcony from the living room and master bedroom was just lovely. Shower/bathroom was fab with lovely shower. Everything to a fairly high spec. We read the sad story behind the development of the apartments, but amazing that they managed to get them finished! The half finished building next to Westbeach is an absolute eyesore. One night we did see what looked like homeless people sleeping in there, but honestly it didn't bother us and it's no ones fault that it's been left in that state. It took us quite a while to find the apartment! But that's likely more on us and our navigation skills than anyone else's fault! We parked right by the apartment which was hassle free and fine for our tall campervan. We were right in the hustle and bustle of westward ho and it was lovely. Would use the apartments again- they were lovely, thank you :-)"

"A beautifully clean and welcoming hotel on the beach in Croyde. It’s safe, fantastic amenities and there is something for everyone. The staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s hard to find accommodation these days where there is nothing to fault - Outstanding! A perfect little get away."

"Just a really lovely cottage, beautifully decorated inside and stunning views of the estuary from the garden. Curlew Cottage is also in such a good location, with walks towards Northam one way and 5 minutes to Appledore along colourful Irsha Street the other.We parked in Torridge Road car park the first night, which made for easy unloading of luggage and the rest of the week in the main Churchfields car park where there was always a space.A lovely summer's stay...."

"Lovely self contained room, well thought out with everything we needed. Lovely kitchen area, wardrobe, air cooler,immaculate en suite. Great location,and landlord was friendly and gave us tips of where to get breakfast. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely relaxing stay in Broadpath at Great Field Lodges, Braunton. The location was perfect for a quiet weekend away, very peaceful. Our dog loved the garden and it was secure so she couldn’t wander off. The Lodge was amazing it was so nicely decorated and the hosts had provided everything we needed, even bathrobes. The hot tub was undercover which was great and there was an outdoor warm shower which I thought was ideal for the hot tub. Normally in must places we’ve stayed in you have to walk through the lodge to get showered before so this was a great idea. There was dog treats, poo bags and a towel for the dog and we had milk and a bottle of Prosecco. It’s situated in a lovely part of Devon with lots of walks from the lodge to the coast and plenty of places to visit locally especially Saunton Sands and Braunton Burrows. We will definitely be staying here again. Wonderful lodges set out in a perfect setting for a break away."
