"We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. "

"Lynda was a wonderful and very helpful host. The cottage was so clean and well cared for that it looked like we were one of her first guests (though we know we were not). I have never stayed in an accommodation which was any cleaner or well cared for. Welcome basket, available picnic supplies (reusable plastic tumblers, plates and utensils), and helpful instructions for use of kitchen appliances and heating system were some of the unexpected pluses. "We loved our stay at Oakbank. It was spacious, immaculately clean and centrally located for the local services. We ate out in Edzell 3 times and thought the food was excellent. Definitely want to go back and still got lots of walks to do!"
