"The hotel is beautiful. But the bed was uncomfortable, the restaurant was closed and there was no AC. Also I didn’t realize it was $38 extra per day for parking. You have to valet a car because there’s no self park option. We only stayed one night so I didn’t get the opportunity to use the spa but it was nice that they offer yoga classes etc. "

"We appreciate the owners opening up their home. This house does have amazing potential. However, the stay was disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness, which should be priority #1 for any Owner. Throw pillows, blankets, floor mats, all with visible dust build up. We ultimately ended up stacking all the aforementioned items in a corner as they were just unusable & flat out dirty. The house has spectacular balconies, but again, the were practically unsuable as they were dirty & we were all turned off to the point that we did not feel comfortable spending time out there, even though the weather & views were amazing. Not to harp on the disappointment of the cleanliness but the last straw was when we found old peanut shells under & bw the couches on both the 1st floor suite & the main couch in the upstairs living room. We are not sure if there was a cleaning company hired before our arrival but regardless if the cleaning company underperformed or not, the Owner or some type of final QC check should've caught this. Regarding the description of "ski in ski out", this is very misleading and we would NOT consider this a ski in ski out. The only way to get to the nearest run, which is roughly a property or two away, is by going through the neighbors private driveway. This is by no means as advertised.The house has amazing potential but in our personal experience, for the cost, its just not up to par with our other rental experiences in Mountain Village. "

"The rooms were small for the price point. I wish we had a fireplace. They put out snacks in a basket making it look like they were complimentary only to find out that I was charged 18.00 for beef jerky and other bars. The TV's were part of the mirror and kind of low and small. The hotel so nicely appointed and loved the restaurants and staff. The location was fabulous. I experience it once but will get a bigger place with a fireplace next time in Tellruide. Coffee shop was ok. Food was good in all 3 outlets. The 275.00 for a rollaway be was excessive. "

"This hotel should not be rated 4 star. It is more like a 2 star hotel. I paid way too much for the quality of this hotel and did not enjoy my stay there. I should have read more reviews before booking. "

"Absolutely deserving of the reputation this place has. Many more amenities in the kitchenette than I actually expected, including a tube burner stove, top, toaster, dishes & utinsils. Rooftop hot tubs are by reservation but free and included in the hotel room rate. We had no problems getting a reservation. Also get free access to the spa and Pools at the Peaks resort. "

"This house was nice enough. The primary frustration with the physical space was an ongoing lock issue that meant we were unable to get inside the house for around half an hour. We were stuck outside in wet bathing suits after a hot tub soak. But the real disappoint went beyond the physical space to the management company. My husband and I were supposed to stay with my daughter, son-in-law and his parents. But our daughter had a medical emergency and wasn’t able to travel. To our surprise, the management company was unwavering in the stance that cancellations aren’t permitted. I’ll admit we knew the policy said we shouldn’t expect flexibility. And we didn’t have insurance for the trip. But I believe exceptions can be made because of medical emergencies. My daughter booked a rental car and they made an exception to their policy of no refunds. As did two airlines. The house was the only aspect of the trip that was unchangeable despite the fact that our daughter couldn’t get on an airplane.We tried to work with management to see if others might book the home, and even changed our travel dates in an effort to increase the chances, but they either wouldn’t or couldn’t figure out how to help. I get this is a business. I also know that three different companies made exceptions because of the circumstances and I believe that should have been the case with this house. We love Telluride and will be back, but we will not stay with this management company. "
