Take advantage of a firepit, a garden, and an arcade/game room at 60 Yards to Apex Lift – Sleeps 8, Mountain Views & A/C. Skiers and snowboarders can spend time on the slopes at this condo featuring ski-in/ski-out access. For some rest and relaxation, visit the hot tub. Stay connected with in-room WiFi, and guests can find other amenities such as laundry facilities and a gym.
Powderhorn Lodge — About 60 Yards from the Apex Lift
Stay in the heart of Solitude Village in this renovated second-floor, 2-bedroom, 2-bath Powderhorn Lodge condo, approximately 60 yards from the Apex Lift. With ski rentals conveniently located right in the building, you can pick up your equipment downstairs, walk to the lift, and be on the mountain in minutes.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, the condo combines an exceptional ski location with a flexible lockout-style floor plan, beautiful mountain and village views, two parking spaces, and access to Club Solitude amenities.
Exceptional Ski Location
Location is one of this condo's biggest advantages. The Apex Lift is approximately 60 yards away, making it easy to get on the mountain in the morning or return to the condo during the ski day without driving or taking a shuttle.
Even better, the ski rental shop is located right in the Powderhorn Lodge building. Restaurants, shops, and other Solitude Village amenities are also close by.
Sleeps Up to 8 — Ideal for Families & Groups
The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms and accommodates up to 8 guests.
The master bedroom is complemented by a second, lockout bedroom. This layout provides useful separation for families, couples, or groups traveling together while still functioning as one vacation home.
Guests receive a key for the condo's main entrance. The lockout bedroom also has an exterior door as part of the original lockout configuration, but it is not provided as a separately keyed guest entrance.
Beautiful Mountain & Village Views
Enjoy views of the surrounding Wasatch Mountains and Solitude Village right from the condo. The setting is beautiful throughout the year, whether you're visiting for powder days, fall colors, or a summer mountain getaway.
Two Parking Spaces
The condo includes two parking spaces, a particularly useful benefit for families and larger groups arriving in separate vehicles.
Once you're here, the central Village location means you can leave the cars parked for much of your stay.
Club Solitude Amenities
Guests have access to Club Solitude amenities, providing additional opportunities to relax after skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Summer Comfort & A/C
For summer stays, the condo has two 10,000-BTU portable A/C units—one in the living room and one in the lockout bedroom. The master bedroom is cooled from the main living area rather than by a dedicated A/C unit.
Like many mountain properties, the condo can warm up during sunny summer afternoons. For best comfort, guests typically use the A/C together with Solitude's cooler mountain air, opening the windows and balcony door when conditions permit. Temperatures generally drop considerably in the evening, helping the condo cool comfortably for the night.
Please note that the condo uses portable A/C rather than central air. Guests who require consistently low, centrally air-conditioned temperatures throughout the condo should take this into consideration when booking.
The Best of Solitude at Your Doorstep
Whether you're planning a ski vacation with family and friends or escaping to the mountains in summer, Powderhorn Lodge makes Solitude remarkably convenient: approximately 60 yards to the Apex Lift, ski rentals in the building, restaurants and Village amenities nearby, beautiful views, two parking spaces, and room for up to 8 guests.

This condo is in a great location right by the pizza place :)
Gil and Robert were very easy to reach with any questions. The condo is nice and clean.
This was our second time staying here. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything.
The place was great and perfect for two families. Gil was very responsive. Check in instructions were very clear, but it took us a minute to figure out where to park to get the keys and parking pass. But that was on us and just a function of the village layout. The location is perfect with options for dinner within walking distance, and you can’t beat walking to ski! We would recommend this place and would stay here again.
Our family loved our stay at Solitude. We had a great time along with amazing skiing outside our door. The owner and property manager were very responsive. A light was out and we had a new one by the morning.
Loved the unit and location too slopes restaurants ski rental lift passes. Will definitely return.

Great place to stay. Arrival and departure were smooth. It was clean and cozy.
I was very pleased with our experience. The kids enjoyed the pool, club solitude activities and the restaurants. The condo was clean and comfortable. Great location for skiing Solitude or Brighton. Glad we did it!
Great place to stay was very nice and updated. The only downfall was it did say there was an icemaker but it didn't work. Otherwise it would recommend staying here.
Gil was a great host, very responsive! The property was as described, clean and spacious for the 4 adults and 2 kids we had. Ski in/out at solitude and very convenient to Brighton! Would definitely want to rent again
This place was homey and comfortable, yet the location felt super elite. It was so nice to enjoy the slopes without having to fight the crowds struggling for a space to park. We enjoyed the hot tub with snow all around too. The whole experience was extremely memorable for us all. I definitely highly recommend this listing!
This condo is just steps from the base of Solitude Mountain Resort. If you are planning a ski trip this location is perfect. The condo itself is beautifully appointed - everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of room for 4-6 adults, updated decor. Check in was simple, communicating with management was easy and responsive. I highly recommend this condo and would gladly return.
We loved the condo and the Solitude village. The location was combiner to everything. We found the unit to be clean and up to date. The beds were average. We would recommend this unit and rent it agin when we return to Solitude.

Perfect Solitude condo!
Solitude is our favorite ski resort and Powderhorn Lodge is the best. Nothing beats this ski in/ski out accommodations, especially coming home for lunch. Our unit fit all of us comfortably with plenty of good beds, a great stocked kitchen and a fireplace to dry our gloves at the end of the day. The balcony is nice and the view of the slopes gets you super excited for the day ahead. In only a couple of minutes you are on the lifts. We loved our stay here and will book this condo again! Thanks for our wonderful vacation!

Log trip to hot tub
There was mildew in showers. I had to pay to clean. There was dust everywhere
The kitchen was well supplied though a toaster oven would be far more useful than a toaster. We were there a month and found the pots and pans to be excellent. There were not enough utensils unless you washed them nightly by gamd. Needs more forks etc.
The condo was really nice and roomy. Nice place to getaway from the heat of the city. The only problem we had was one of the AC unit did not work well otherwise I would recommend it
We had a fabulous time at solitude mountain resort. The property is beautiful and we used all the amenities. My kids loved the pool with the slide. The beds are super comfortable, even the pull out beds in the couch. The first night was a little warm, because we didn’t have time to cool down the condo. There are fans and 2 air conditioning units. If you keep the windows open during the day and the fans going it stays really cool. We did several hikes: donut falls, silver lake, and twin lakes. My kids ages 7-12 loved them. Highly recommend for a family getaway with small kids.
Host provided thorough instructions for finding and checking into the room. The room was very spacious and included a full kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils and dishes. Incredible location, only a couple minute walk to the nearest chairlift at Solitude.
