We had an awesome time at David's cabin. It was within a short walk to the base of Brighton. The cabin was full of fun decorations and amenities. Would stay again!
This lovely Brighton property was perfect for our family ski trip! Clean home with unique decor. Great communication, hospitable host. The location is perfect, easy drive to the resort to drop off the teens. We had a fabulous stay!
Owner answered all questions promptly and sent videos on how to do certain things which was helpful. Cabin was comfortable and well stocked. Would recommend
We were very happy with the amenities at this cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room for gathering and sleeping. The host was very helpful.
Love staying in this cabin! Has a rustic feel to it but also offers great amenities. Perfect combination. The large deck on the south side is a great place to hang out all day and throughout the evening with spectacular views.
We were 2 families, 4 adults. 4 kids, for a few days of skiing at Brighton. This was the perfect base, just a very short shuttle ride from the main lodge/base.Enough room for everyone to feel comfortable.Great kitchen for cooking breakfasts and dinners.David was very helpful with any questions that we had.
Very cool and unique place. Walking distance to Brighton and a short bus ride to Solitude. Beautiful views from the deck and living room. If you need help with anything the owner (David) is very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Amazing stay at unique and charming property. 6 minute walk to great western lift! We loved all of the little touches that made this home memorable - from the hot tub on the covered deck to beautiful metalwork throughout, to very attentive support from the homeowners team. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.
This property is super cool with all the unique amenities. Also the best location to send your boarders out to the slopes. I had to stay in and work and I didn’t have to worry about traffic, parking or meeting up with the kids.
This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. Cabin is fully stocked with everything you may need. Beautiful views, with a fun seating area and fire pit outside made for a relaxing few days. Cabin is very cozy and inviting. Lots of options of things to do nearby. It was a great way to spend a weekend.
The host was very nice and communicative, and the cabin had plenty of room yet a lovely, cozy vibe with a wood-burning fireplace and big comfy sofa. Plenty of room for a group to eat around the large round table in the dining area. The sauna was sooo pleasant. Tons of interesting handmade items and features all over the home. We enjoyed it immensely!
The house was just as described in the listing. We all found everything we needed to be comfortable. We were able to prepare big dinners in the well equipped kitchen! The walk to the shuttle in hiking boots was not a problem. With skis and ski boots it was challenging, especially at the end of the day. It is not ski in-ski out. A car would have made it easier. We didn’t have one. Also, groceries need to be purchase in SLC before heading up if you don’t have a car.
David, the owner, was a great and very responsive host. The house itself was great for our needs. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were super nice, and the Sonos stereo system was amazing! A few glitches here and there (hot tub cover pulley system broke and about knocked my DIL to the ground, seat fell off stool and my husband hit the ground hard) but our overall stay was great. I will say that I would not recommend this house for small children, too many cool features that are hazards IMO. My grands were 4 and 6, but I would not want younger children staying there. Lots of QR codes with great instructions, but needs to update the video for use of the hot tub cover. It was a totally different system that what we had. Again, David was incredibly responsive and for that I am thankful. Location would be hard to beat in relation to the resort and shuttle stop.

Ski in Paradise Brighton
Ski in Paradise was a unique stay! Cleanliness of the home was biggest disappointment. I know that is prefaced in the description, but it was not at an acceptable level of cleanliness. Host is very nice. Layout is cool, but not ideal for our family vaca. Beds comfortable, but lower level could use dresser vs dusty book shelf, oven on main floor filthy, doorway with tarp dangerous/slippery, door lock broken, not fixed before our stay. Great place for ski/snowboarding better suited for bachelors vs families. More than a minute walk to Brighton, but easily done (just a note on the time for planning purposes). Hot tub is located in awkward spot (have to walk through bedroom to get to) needs clean water/balanced ph, Fireplace awesome if you know how to build fires & willing to scoop ashes/dispose of them while you're on vacation, (we do), smoke detector alarm goes off for no reason...we enjoyed our stay because it is our family vacation & Brighton has awesome ski/snowboarding.
We stayed for 5 nights. The main purpose of our trip was skiing. We had two families of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers in each family. House size was perfect. Two older boys slept up in the loft, two adults and my daughter on the middle floor with the two bedrooms and two adults downstairs and one teenager on the downstairs couch which he said was comfy. Loved the hot tub and sauna but the fireplace was our favorite. So many cool decorations in this place. We loved the rustic charm. Very convenient to slopes. Short walk to the shuttle, longer walk to the lift, but doable. We always took the shuttle. David, the Owner, was very responsive. The mountain got 54" of snow while we were there so we had some small logistical challenges getting there as did the cleaning staff but all of that was fine. The place was very clean and perfect for our stay. We got all our groceries for the week in Walmart before heading up the mountain and that worked out great. We would stay here in again in a heartbeat. My one wish was that the hottub was out on the main deck so you could view the mountain as you hung out, but it was fine as is. We were in the hot tub everyday. Thanks for an awesome trip David.
Very unique property the details and decor were awesome.
We had a wonderful weekend at this awesome cabin located right next to my favorite ski resort in the world, Brighton.
We have four kids ages 2-11 and they all had a great time. All my kids loved it.
My daughters commented on how much they loved the cabin decor. I did too. It has so many cute and unique details from wood carvings to repelling figures.
The beds were comfy, the couch inviting, the shower was a waterfall with sprayers and a shower head on the sides.
We enjoyed the hot tub right after sledding and it was fun to warm up and turn on the LED lights and watch the snow fall.
We decorated gingerbread houses, drank hot cocoa, roasted mallows on the fire, went sledding, hot tubbing, and played board games as a family in our winter PJ’s.
The WiFi is great I worked for a few hours there and had no trouble with the internet even uploading movies to my site worked fine.
Communication was great from David. He sent videos on how to use the fire and some other things that required visual instruction which was great.
We stayed when the resorts weren’t open yet and just got lucky with an early snowpack. However, I grew up amateur-competitively snowboarding and have snowboarded at many resorts and have rode at most resorts in Utah and it is hard to beat Brighton and Solitude in terms of tree riding, powder, and variety in terrain. Brighton is my favorite resort and this cute cabin is just minutes away.
I Highly recommend!
