"Construction at the moment"

"I cant fault the hotel and we enjoyed our short stay very much however the price was much higher than similar standard options we have stayed out previously and the step up in cost did not translate in a step up of quality so it might be our first and last time staying im afraid to say."

"Well decorated and clean rooms. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The rooftop is a great place to work and despite some of the comments about the WiFi, I’ve never encountered an issue. The Penny has become my favorite stay in Brooklyn recently."

"Nice location, cool views from our city view room. Bit small for a long stay. Staff have a bit of a New York attitude problem so don’t expect great service. One exception for the nice chap who checked us in!"

"Great location and the room was big. Bed was ok, sofa bed not great."

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel :) The staff are so incredibly friendly. My room was a great size, felt newly appointed and had floor to ceiling windows. It was so helpful to have the all day cafe and restaurant as well. Such a great location! I work in the industry and stay a quite a few hotels - i definitely recommend a stay here."

"My experience at The William Vale in Brooklyn was humiliating and deeply upsetting. All I wanted was to celebrate my husband’s birthday and enjoy a special night together. Instead, the hotel called the police on us, and we were told to leave without a clear explanation. Staff claimed they had called our room beforehand, but we were in the room and never heard the phone ring. The first indication we had that there was a problem was when the police knocked on our door. I felt embarrassed, hurt,...

"TINY ROOM"

"Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt, es hat an nichts gefehlt und die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"Simple, clean, and friendly. Location is a bit far from subway but the free shuttle more than makes up for that."

"We only stayed here one night, but all amenities were as expected, staff was very helpful and the location was great. Very close to lots of food options in China Town. We were here for a concert at the Mercury Lounge, which was walkable. Only downside is that there was some noise from trains. There is no parking on site so we had to find a nearby garage and walk a little. Would stay here again if I need a hotel in NYC!"
