We loved our stay there, it was everything it said it was, loved sitting by the creek and on the porch listening to the water flow across the rocks. Very relaxing.
We loved our stay here. The creek was amazing. We made so many great memories from swimming to fishing and tubing. We definitely plan on coming back every year!
This cabin was just what we needed, nothing more, nothing less. The location right in front the creek was perfect. It was clean, spacious and comfortable.
I was a little concerned about the location of the cabin at first, but we really did enjoy our time there, the cabin was clean, hot tub was a big hit and the water that runs in front of the cabin was wonderful to listen to at night. Overall, we enjoyed our time there and we would definitely go back and stay again!
Nice property with very nice location on a stream, comfortable interior with plenty of light, modern appliances and furnishings. Hot tub and lots of room outside to enjoy.
The waterfall is perfectly accessible and very real, and the kids were able to tube the short segment behind the cabin, which was gorgeous and well furnished. Highly recommended!
Our stay was amazing. The location is perfect for peaceful time outdoors. The house is nice. The only two things I’d like to mention are the turn off the main road is pretty serious so be careful and it would be nice to have more towels to avoid having to wash so much. Overall the stay was perfect.
This was just what was needed. Close enough to where you want to go but far enough away to be away. Enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek while reading a book then relaxing in the hot tub. Would definately stay again if the opportunity arose!!

I really loved it...the place was so serene and beautiful. I highly recommend this place. I will be returning for sure. The hot tub made me feel so renewed. The mountains was the place to be. The babbling brook was the best. It was so regenerating. This is exactly what we needed. It was a relaxing vacation for sure.
It’s an awesome place next to a nice little river. Just beware that this river is a hatchery support and there are no signs letting you know. The neighbors will call the game warden on you.
The little stream running straight across the property was the most relaxing sound; there was a small waterfall causing the babbling brook sounds of peace. My kids loved playing in the stream and it got them off their phones and out in nature! The home has all the comforts that you will need, I was able to cook all meals and was missing nothing to do so for a family of four. Coffee pot was a little small, but I sure didn’t feel guilty making a second pot each morning :). Absolutely breathtaking and I would highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is nicely appointed, and the sound of the creek adds to the experience. The only slight issue (and it's not a deal breaker) is the road into the cabin itself. My wife wasn't crazy about the bridge over the creek but it was fine. just take it slow, and while it's still daylight if possible. She said she'd like to rent the cabin again. The creek (Alarka creek) is a nice little trout stream. I was able to do some fly fishing right in front of the cabin and caught several nice rainbow trout. thank you.
We loved it and would go back. I'll list my minor quibbles first: Had to buy a frying pan because the 2 that were there were inadequate to cook for 4; Only 1 sheet pan and it was rusty; The chef knives were dull to the point of being mildly hazardous to use; Electric burners on the stove don't get very hot (probably time to replace those); Fire pit had not been dug out in a while (I keep a shovel in the Xterra, quick fix).
Having said all that, none of those things are deal breakers, really just minor issues. The inside was spacious and spotless, very cozy and comfortable. The deck is very nice and overlooks the incredible stream that flows by the property. Didn't try the hot tub but it seemed to be functioning perfectly. The location is great for hitting activities in Bryson City or the Nantahala. All in all we had a great stay.
Six of us "girls" stayed for a long weekend after having 2 wedd8for some of our sons...and two more to go! This house was perfect for some R&R and chill time. We loved the creek... and hot tub- both were very relaxing. The creek is literally in your backyard.
The beds are all comfortable & the house set up was great. The kitchen was stocked well for cooking. We grilled out burgers - grill worked well.
Great deck too.
The bridge...we saw one revi6that made us wonder & the bridge is concrete...but no side railings so can feel a bit sketch...but its solid.
Two suggestions- a TV that works (& even an upgrade to a smart tv...we never were able to get it to work) and a larger coffee pot. 5 cup for 6 ladies meant slot of making and waiting.
With that being said- we hope to come back!
