  • Well maintained mountain home lovingly built by its owners! Very peaceful and secluded on a private road just up the mountain from town. Comfortable 3 story home with loft and 3rd BR has its own private balcony! Covered porches, hot tub, fire pit, picnic table and charcoal grill make the most of the outdoors and beautiful ridge views!
    Master Bedroom and bath is on the main floor with separate tub and shower. Great room has vaulted ceilings with a wood burning stone fireplace. Open kitchen with exposed beams, SS appliances, granite counter tops and well stocked cabinets for all your cooking needs. Smart TV and VCR with videos movies. WiFi.
    Two bedrooms upstairs with a full bath and a separate loft area for games and puzzles or to just chill.
    2 bedrooms have comfortable queen pillow top mattresses with quality linens; the master has a new memory foam queen mattress.

This property suited our family of five very nicely. The kitchen and dining space were great, the bedrooms and bathrooms were great, we used both the hot tub and the fire pit... The reason we chose Bryson City as "home base" for our trip to the Smokies was that we had made plans with one of the rafting companies nearby; this cabin was about 20 minutes from that company and its competitors. In short, if you're taking the family (or a group of friends) to the Bryson City area, I can recommend this property as a lovely place to call home for the time you're there.

The cabin was very clean!! So clean that I could even sit on the porch on the swing without worrying about bugs and spiders. The host was helpful and the view was devine!!! The hot tub was perfect but needs a little more light for a night dip!!! Oh and we saw a river otter!!!!

I can't begin to explain how absolutely perfect this home is. Beautiful location, clean, well stocked, comfortable, easy access to multiple activities and other cities. Host was exceptional in communication. If we come back through the area, I would definitely book a stay here again. Make sure you spend time on the porch swing, that was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. 10 stars if I could!

Peaceful and convenient

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Ridge! The house was so lovely, quiet and peaceful, while also very convenient to town. We would love to return in the fall sometime!

The cabin stood out the most. It was clean, well equipped with everything we needed. Rooms were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and swift to reply to my comments/ questions. Would stay there again if I'm in the area.

This home was very nice and well maintained. The host clearly made every effort to ensure the property was maintained and prepared for our stay. The property overall was very clean and well stocked to ensure everything we needed was available and more. It was obvious the host/owner took great pride in their home. A couple very minor things from poor behavior by previous guests but the host was very responsive. I would certainly recommend this property as well as the host. We greatly enjoyed our visit and would encourage others to take advantage of this opportunity.

AMAZING! Wow! Great cabin and great location! It’s close to the Polar Express! The best part is the cleanliness of the cabin!! I’ve never stayed in a place this clean! You know it’s clean when you see a squeegee in the shower! We will most definitely be back for another stay!!!

Nice place to stay in a perfect location, with lots of privacy, great amenities, and beautiful view. Pictures online do not do the cabin justice. Wrap around balcony with porch swing and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of our adventurous days. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-maintained cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the mountains. The location was perfect- close to Bryson City downtown and several great spots to explore. We especially enjoyed riding the train, visiting nearby towns, and seeing the Highland cows at Walnut Creek Farm, which was our daughter’s favorite part of the trip. The peaceful setting and gorgeous views made it the perfect family getaway. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home

Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable home in a very private but convenient location. Easy access to all that Bryson City has to offer. The porch and hot tub were favorites during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunset Ridge!

Peaceful and Beautiful

The pictures do not do the cabin justice, it is beautiful! It is beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing on the porch! We sat on the porch drinking coffee and it was so relaxing! It's close to town yet tucked away from everything! Definitely will go again.

The stay at Sunset Ridge was phenomenal! It was so much more than I expected. The owners were exceptionally responsive and helpful. The place is secluded as the description says but you can hear neighbors in the distance but they can’t be seen. I can’t wait to come back for another stay.
