"The view is spectacular. The cabin is clean and very cozy. There is plenty of hiking trails nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much, and spent a ton of time out on the porch enjoying the view. A qarning about the driveway up to the cabin: its steep and curvy. Highly recommend doing it in daylight the first time. We had our Camaro with us and it made the trip up the hill without any problem."

This is clearly stated in the description but the location of the game room with pool table can’t be accessed by the main house. "Amazing views with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Secluded and very quiet location. Sunsets off the back porch on the rocking chairs with a hot tub and fire pit to enjoy as well. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook - even spices and frosty mugs!"

"The cabin was small but cleverly designed and is in a prime location to Bryson City and other area attractions. We truly enjoyed our stay. We normally only vacation using our camper and wanted to change it up a little this year. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed the cabin immensely."

"Everything was amazing. So relaxing to hear the creek all night. I loved being about to walk outside and feel like I was in a dream. The only complaint I have is the main bed needs a new mattress. I slept on the couch to avoid it the second night. But other than that it was an amazing trip and I can’t wait to go back."

"Location can't be beat. Within 10 minute drive to Bryson City, which is a charming little town. Million dollar views. The drive up the mountain should not be an issue, even without a 4WD vehicle. No close by neighbors, so very private property. The cabin is very well taken care of, nicely decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Convenient location to several great hiking and bicycling trails. Highly recommended: 5 stars all around."

"Shady Creek was a great place to stay for three nights with my girlfriend while we enjoyed the local roads and explored the area. The setting is up hill and provides a nice, nearly secluded view into the woods. Which was enjoyable from the new hot tub that was recently installed! On the inside we were surprised to find the HVAC wasn’t working! But Troy was very quick to respond. He installed window units to make sure we were comfortable! We were also surprised to find one pane on the bedroom...

"We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing cabin. The creek was the best. So peaceful. Cabin is nothing fancy but it was just what me and my husband needed to reset ourselves. Everything worked great for us in the cabin too. Definitely would go back."
