"I was on the 3rd floor, room 314. Ice machine and vending machine in hallway behind elevator. Great, I take bucket, ice out it order and vending machine empty. I had a handicapped room although I'm not handicapped. I had a large shower, you could roll a wheel chair in to it. Floor would get all wet. I love soaking in a tub. Room smelled musty and the carpet always felt damp. I wore sandals walking from bed to bathroom."

Qualla Cabins and Motel Cherokee near Casino

"If you stay in one of the cabins stay in cabins 1 though 7 or 8 to avoid the car wash disco light show on the other side of the river. The car wash turns the lights on around 6pm and turns them off at 6am. It's like having a police car parked outside your window with the lights flashing all night. Thankfully were able to move cabins after the first night. Also consider booking through the motel itself to pick the right cabin."

"The room was clean. The carpet was new. The view of the river was excellent. Had a few issues but the staff quickly corrected them. We plan to stay here in the future"

"We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Rooms were very clean. Pool was clean. All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent."

"We enjoyed our first stay at the Terrace Hotel. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The fantastic seating areas that overlook the lake are excellent for peaceful morning coffee and meditation. This puts it a step above a normal hotel."
