"Our trip was wonderful! The cabin was just what we needed--relaxing, private, well stocked, clean and comfortable and was more spectacular than we imagined. The location was very convenient to everything we had planned. The drive to the cabin was on well kept gravel roads. Great communication with the owners, who were so responsive to any question we had. Our family appreciated all the recommendations on places we should put on our list to see and places to eat. The cabin had everything we needed--with good space for everyone. The outside deck was a hit and listening to the rushing water of the creek was incredible--a great place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The owners said the cabin was a special cabin and that was absolutely true. Our family highly recommends this cabin and we are very appreciative of the owners for allowing us to stay and enjoy it."

"It's one of the best VRBO stays we've ever had. Even more beautiful than the photos, with jaw-dropping mountain views, a cozy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches like fresh flowers.After 20years of renting from owners, we've never arrived to a cleaner or better-prepared property. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the cabin perfectly quiet, the kitchen well-stocked, the Wi-Fi solid and check-in/out effortless. Parking was spacious with easy turnaround, and outdoor areas - including a covered swing - were perfect for relaxing. We felt completely safe and loved watching the wildlife, especially the bears. Everything inside and out were top-of-the-line.The location is unbeatable for exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, local restaurants, breweries and more. Evenings on the porch brought unforgettable sunsets and clouds drifting through the mountains.But the real magic is the owners. Tony and Nancy are two of the kindest, most welcoming hosts you'll ever meet. Tony's bear alerts helped us fulfill a lifelong dream of seeing a wild black bear up close, and their sweet dogs became part of our memories. They offer wonderful interaction if you want it and total privacy if you prefer.This wasn't just a place to stay--it felt like staying with friends. We can't wait to return. Thank you, Tony and Nancy, for an unforgettable vacation!"

"Cabin was in a great central location for Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and hiking. The cabin was perfect; just like the pictures. It was well-stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was very clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch listening to the creek below. Since it was summer we didn’t use the fireplace or fire pit, but I would love to go back to do so. Great deal for the price as well."

"The views were amazing!! If you want peace and quiet time to relax this is definitely the place. The home/ cabin is equipped with everything you need. Home is kept very well and clean. Plenty of entertainment and location is perfect, you’re away from everyone but once you go down the mountain there is everything to enjoy, great restaurants and can’t forget the elks, amazing creatures. We will be back for sure God willing, thank you for having us, was an amazing 2 weeks"

"We can’t say enough good things about Mountain Time! This is our third time staying here, and I believe it gets better each time!The cabin is impeccably clean! Kudos to housekeeper Angie! Be sure to leave her a nice tip when you stay. We sincerely appreciated the “little things”, such as paper towels, coffee pods, laundry supplies, Q-tips, tissues, and a little bowl of snacks! And of course the kitchen is well stocked. The decor is gorgeous, the setting is peaceful, and the whole vibe is just perfection. Mike is the ultimate host! Perfect communication. I’m sad to leave this morning, but hopeful that we’ll be back next year for a longer stay!"

"We had the best time at the cabin. The place is beautiful, even better than the pictures, and the view is spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds were comfortable and everything worked very well at the house. The surrounding area is very quiet and it’s really close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Socco Falls and Oconaluftee area of the Smoky’s. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a full day of hiking. We loved our stay and can’t wait to visit this area again!"
