"The property was beautiful and the hosts were very helpful! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with friends! The location was perfect as it was a short drive from town and right on a gorgeous lake, where we had access to canoes and kayaks. We went on a few gorgeous hikes around the area (Whiteside Mountain, High Falls, and Rainbow Fallls at Gorges National Park). I highly recommend staying here, and I can’t wait to book my next trip!"

"The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. "We loved this property we found it to be wonderful and excellent location. We had a little bit of a problem our key card would not open the door, we contacted day manager and she came down with a bucket of keys! All numbered but in no particular order. I was holding the bucket for her while she tried keys. This lady never lost her composure, the smile never left her face, she had been in contact with the lock company who was several hours away. She kept apologizing even though we knew it was not her fault, while I was holding a bucket I looked down and saw one of the keys was numbered 1 2 0 and that was our room number! This lady was as happy as we were if not more. We told her when we checked out that she was the hero of our trip because she helped us get back in our room, and as we said before the smile never left her face. She might have been grumbling inside, but we could not see it. I wish I had gotten her name, because she deserves to be commended!"
