Sehr geräumiges und schon eingerichtetes Zimmer.
Beim Frühstück wurde man bedient und es wurde sogar Rührei frisch zubereitet.
Sehr zu empfehlen.
Für Menschen die es ruhig mögen: Es gibt Zimmer direkt über dem Pub, die nachts etwas laut sind, allerdings für mich persönlich kein Problem. "

"We stayed in room 2 which is above the cafe and it was noisy until late at night.
Breakfast was very good and food choices covered all needs. Overall a very nice property very conveniently placed for shopping and restaurants."
"Staff are very friendly and were very helpful. Hotel is in a good location to get to train station and walking around the old town. Room was modern and fairly large for Switzerland, somewhat sparse but functional."

"I highly recommend that everyone should look beyond the big expensive city of Basel and look into Germany for accommodations. Although this hotel had slightly outdated décor, one can see that this hotel, and it's staff, have a lot of pride in their work place, and they offer great service. My room was spotless, had all the necessities except for air conditioning but thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it wasn't necessary.
The hotel offered a plentiful and fresh breakfast buffet that was fit for a king. Everything was wonderful at the Carathotel. I really commend the staff that was very welcoming."
"We had a great stay here. Really handy for the train station. Staff were SO friendly and helpful. Our room was a little dated, but the bathroom was new and modern. The room was so clear. Would stay again :)"

"Good sized room but not keen on glass bathroom doors that do not close correctly.
Was surprised to be charged for bottles of water left in room - had mistakenly assumed these were complimentary 4Euros is no big deal but it would have been good to make the charge clear."
"We stayed here for 4 nights. Wednesday through Sunday. There’s a bus stop right down the street but only until 7pm. If you come back to hotel after that the nearest bus stop is a 15-20 minute walk. And on Sundays the bus doesn’t run until 1pm- which was unfortunate because we needed to get to the airport- but staff arranged a taxi for us on Sunday morning which was fantastic. Other than limited transportation in area, everything else was great. The room was spacious and perfect for what we needed. Bed was made every night we came back to hotel. Bed was comfy and temperature in room was good as well."
