"Our stay was spoiled by excessively noisy and drunken local ( probably ) mature layabouts male and femail who had no regard for other travellers. Why the hotel did not refuse to serve them the all inclusive drinks I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND. The evening meal was a disaster and one dish was too salty to eat and was eventually replaced with a strange warm salad dish, which was presumably an invention of the chef. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING."

"I booked the Royal Toby as a solo traveller. I was made so welcome by the reception staff. I was immediately put at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spacious and airy. Consisting of a double bed and a big single bed. Facilities were excellent with tea making facilities. And all amenities you would expect. The room was veryclean. Corridors and communal areas were also of a high standard. I had arranged to go out so did not use bar facilities or restaurant. But if the smell was anything to go by it smelled wonderful. My room was quiet despite there being a storm outside. Check out was efficient. The breakfast was of a high standard and excellent quality and service. Over all i would highly recommend the Royal Toby,and am sure i will visit again."

"We didnt see any shops, my only reason for one low score, is that we were in room 7 on Friday 20th March. When we went to the room the smell of Fresh paint was very strong. The young lady on reception moved us to another room. Which was perfect. "

"Nelo was an amazing host – very warm, friendly and helpful. The house was clean, peaceful and very comfortable, and the location is great. We truly enjoyed our stay and really appreciate Nelo’s hospitality. Thank you for hosting us!"

"John and Chris were amazing hosts! We stayed for a week and had a great time! They took out our trash/recycling daily and let us borrow an umbrella when it was raining. They also had a detailed pamphlet of things to do/eat in the area. 10/10 would stay here again :)"
