"Beautiful home, great beds, fabulous porch to watch dolphins, pelicans and so many birds…great sea turtle nests along the beach and the turtle volunteers are so friendly and inclusive…saw tracks of baby turtles going to the ocean…close to Beaufort and great restaurants…had a great boat tour with dolphin adventures…will definitely be back…"

"The house is beautiful and the location is wonderful. We enjoyed our trip with family - we spent most of our time outside fishing, playing corn hole, walking the beach, playing basketball & pickle ball… there’s no shortage of things to enjoy! We had a great trip!"

"I grew up coming to the same house on the island and recently it was sold so we’ve rented a few homes in the past. This has been my favorite. iTrip was very communicative and helpful when we had an issue due to a storm. Barry even came out to try and help during a storm. Sunsets over the marsh are the best and the house was beautiful!"

"The set up/ lay out of the house was amazing- especially the air conditioned 3 season porch with sea side view of sun rise and sun set. We have never had a house THIS close to the ocean! The sea life was awesome! Baby turtles, dolphins, birds and crabs were a few of our favorites to watch! The community and beach were so clean and the golf cart/ pool/ community activities were so fun! It was great for a large family/ multiple families- tons of seating for meals and many different places to go to have separate space from others! The negatives were that the house needs some updating- there were maintenance things that could use a spruce up. Chipping paint, furniture with tears/ holes in it and piling/ deck nails and boards coming up- the house could use an update and repairs. The ocean is on a bay and it was calm and warm- great for people who don’t want to get knocked down by waves. Sadly we missed the body surfing, large waves of the ocean. At times it was so nice and peaceful, but felt like a lake, not the ocean- this surprised us. If you want surfing/ body surfing, consider a different beach. Over all, we all had an amazing week and loved our stay! We would definitely consider going back!"

"Overall, a great home - spacious, clean, plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and a dog a couple of day guests (no problem getting extra gate passes), and close to the boardwalk to get to the beach, but let down by lack of property management and general upkeep.For a home that accommodates large groups, the kitchen was void of essential tools (steak knives, metal spatula, etc.) and considering we stayed for a week, we found the property was stingy on basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods and toiletries.Several maintenance issues were noted - the bunk beds were wobbly with loose or missing screws and the kitchen faucet was loose. Outside, the patio furniture was falling apart, broken gear was left in the corner, the outdoor spigot required a wrench to turn on the hose to wash off our feet from the sand (easy fixes in the grand scheme of things). and old beach clutter was littered under the house upon arrival. There is a charcoal grill on-site, but you'll need to bring your own charcoal and grilling tools. It's a nice place, but it needs better upkeep and attentiveness from management."
