"The whole property just smells of really intense urine. It’s so bad that it made me feel sick. They do not clean the puddles or urine outside the hotel so you can actually smell when you are getting close to the hotel when you are walking outside. Our room also stank like urine and when we asked for a new room the new “clean” room had the lasts guests trash still there. If you enjoy smelling month old urine from many people stacked up and 10xed that’s stained into the concrete the you should stay here. No joke everything smells like urine here"

"I'm at 10 right now because it is exceptionally clean, quiet for the evening and the bed and pillows are freshly, fluffy and comforting. Staff is welcoming, patient and responsive. Coffee stop is ready w fresh, tasty pastries and morning juices and grab to go items. Tonight we'll explore the rooftop, restaurant and gymn."

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not stay here again. The shower in my room had constantly running water, which created a lot of humidity and loud noise all night. It made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. When I asked to change rooms, the staff offered another room that had a very strong unpleasant smell, so I decided to stay in the original room for one night only. The hotel charged me for two nights in advance and accepted cash only. Later that evening, I discovered blood marks/stains on my towel. I immediately went to the front desk and requested a clean towel because I was uncomfortable using one that appeared dirty and unsanitary. Although they replaced it, this situation — combined with the humidity, noise, and poor room conditions — made me decide not to stay the second night. The next morning, I informed the staff that I wanted to check out early and requested a refund for the unused night. I explained all the issues and had photos documenting the running water problem and the towel condition. The hotel refused to refund me. I also contacted Hotels.com customer service, but they were unable to help because the hotel operated on a cash-only basis. As a result, I lost $140 for a night I did not stay there and had to book another hotel at my own expense. Very disappointing experience overall."

"Loved the rooms—cool decor, great water pressure, comfy bed and giant windows with bed facing beautiful view. Cafe and restaurant on site plus rooftop bar! Great location in the heart of the LES next to bars, restaurants and a Photo Booth museum!😃 Not as crazy busy as Times Square. Close to subway! 🚊 Great pricing!"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Ludlow Hotel. The property has such a cool, stylish atmosphere while still feeling warm and comfortable. The lobby and fireplace seating area were especially beautiful and inviting, and we found ourselves wanting to spend time there even when we weren’t heading in or out. The room was very clean and comfortable, and every staff member we interacted with — front desk, lobby staff, bell service, and housekeeping — was genuinely friendly and helpful. The service really stood out and made the stay feel elevated and welcoming. One thing that could be improved is the bathroom counter/storage space, especially in a room with multiple guests. The lighting and mirrors were great, but there was very little room to set toiletries or personal items down near the sink area. Even a small additional table or shelf would make a big difference. Overall, we loved the hotel’s design, location, and atmosphere and would absolutely stay here again."
