"The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back"

"The room was very clean and spacious. The staff had been really kind and helpful. Having a parking space was quite helpful as it provided us with a space to park. The staff were understanding of any issues that we came across and helped us with the best of their abilities."

"This proved to be a great little place to stay for a brief two-day visit to Oxford. We were there primarily to tour sites of interest to C. S. Lewis fans, and the location of this guest house was perfect for us. It’s a 35-minute walk or 8-minute drive to the Lewis house, now delightfully preserved. We added in a stop at Holy Trinity Church, to pay our respects to Lewis’s grave and to see the church itself, where he and his brother attended for years, and where they are both buried. We especially enjoyed our walk to both; the church is on the way to the house. From there, after our tour of the house and pond area, we grabbed an Uber to get directly into Oxford proper. Lewis’s college, Magdalen, is the first one you get to, and your driver can let you off right at the (small and unassuming) entrance. From there, Oxford is a picture postcard everywhere you look. There is also a bus to the University with a stop very close to Pickwick’s. Another great feature, as there is nowhere to park in Oxford proper, and they discourage tourist cars. Our room was basic and rather small, but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom, kept very tidy, was right outside our room, and we had a sink in the room itself. All staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the extra-charge breakfast—cooked to order—was surprisingly good, as was the whole place, especially at this price point. There is a really cute garden in the back, and ample off-street parking in the front."

"Four of us stayed in the family room for one night and it was perfect for our needs and in a great location. The room was spacious for four people and very clean. The staff were very helpful. Although, we had 2 cars with us and there is only one parking space per room. We were prepared to park elsewhere but when checking in were told by staff where we could park the second car, which was along a drive next door to the guest house. When returning to the car in the morning there was a note on the car warning us we were parked on private property and could be reported for trespassing. Overall it was a pleasant stay just unfortunate about the parking situation if you are travelling in multiple cars."

"The annexe was beautifully presented on arrival. The host had left milk in the fridge, flowers, prosecco and chocolates as I had mentioned that our visit was for celebrating our anniversary. The location was easy to find and perfect as we were able to park on the drive and take bus into Oxford town centre. The room had everything that we needed; comfy bed, microwave, kettle, TV and ample wardrobe space. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was out of this world! The host sent us various messages throughout the process which was helpful and considerate. A lovely stay !"

"We stayed at this house for almost 4 weeks while my husband had treatment at the local hospital.This house felt like a home away from home. Everything was lovely & clean & anything we needed, the hosts were right on it.I would definitely stay here again. It was only a 12 min walk to the hospital.Rooms were lovely sizes. Bathroom upstairs is massive. Kitchen had everything you need. We was sad to leave."
