"Our kitchen was not well stocked at all. We were asked to wash dishes before we left but there were not a dish cloth or dish towel in the kitchen. A roll of paper towels would have been a nice addition to the kitchen. We could not use the oven to reheat some food because there was not a cookie sheet or pizza pan. Overall, the kitchen was lacking. Communications was tough because we never saw an employee that could have answered our questions."

"The Gitchie Gumie was truly amazing an did not disappoint in anyway. Waking w/ the sunrise and enjoying magic beans in the large mugs provided, enjoying breakfast in the well appointed kitchen, taking in the views in the Adirondack chairs ... all inspired me to paint a watercolor on the porch ... music and a glass of vino! Perfect. Had surf and turf on the grill, enjoyed the fireplace ... everyday dialing into relaxation ... comfortable beds, lovely well appointed bathrooms. Truly lovely. Only one small suggestion, please consider supplying martini glasses. With that ... I would rate 5 stars and will come back!Best,Lisa"

"The home was clean and the kitchen well stocked with all the pots, dishes, pans and utensils I needed to cook our meals . The North woods theme the home was decorated in was cute . The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets and blanket . There were fluffy towels in the bathroom and plenty of extras in a closet . It was nice having a grocery next door to get needed items . I was surprised at how quiet it was inside considering that the home is relatively close to the road. The only thing that I guess I didn’t think about was I am not used to well water and it tasted a little different than what I am used to. It wasn’t a problem at all just different. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Paradise area !"

"On the day of check in, we were messaged by the host saying that there were plumbing issues at the property and that we would be moved to a different property. Details and check in instructions were given for the new property not far away. The new property was clean and neat, however, it needs updates. The appliances were very old and outdated. There was also food and other items left in the refrigerator and freezer and cabinets. We did take advantage of using the shower as we were trying to settle in for the night. While resting and relaxing in the living area, the power went out. We waited for it to come back on with no success. The owner was notified and he stated there was a widespread power outage and offered to come start the generator at the property. We declined and elected to return to our point of origin. The owner understood and wished us safe travels. I inquired about getting a refund for our stay and the owner stated we would minus VRBO fees. I recently inquired about my refund status with VRBO and they stated they would get a hold of the owner. I received a phone call from VRBO stating the owner would not be refunding our stay since we used all the towels (prior to the power going out). I wish I could say our experience with this owner and property were better, but sadly it was not."

"We loved our stay in Paradise. The property was as described and it was very clean and comfortable. Our Host was quick to respond when we had some questions. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot."
