Step straight from your private backyard onto Playa Grande—there is no road to cross. Casa Mirage is a colorful Mediterranean-style oceanfront villa for up to 16 guests, with five ensuite bedrooms, two pools, panoramic verandas and space for families and groups to reconnect by the sea.

Swim, surf out front, watch for howler monkeys or unwind in a hammock as the sun sets over the Pacific.

THE SPACE:
"Casa Mirage" is a fully air-conditioned, 5,100-square-foot beachfront villa with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Local hardwoods, colorful custom furnishings and open living spaces give the home a relaxed Costa Rican character, while upper and lower verandas showcase 180-degree ocean views.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, two refrigerators, dishwasher and filtered drinking water. Shaded outdoor spaces offer a large dining table, hammocks, rocking chairs and loungers for easy meals and unhurried time together.

The pool area sits between the villa and the beach, making it easy to move between swimming, supervising children, and enjoying the ocean throughout the day.

UNIQUE FEATURES:
With nothing separating the backyard from the shoreline, days can begin with a beach walk or surf session and end with sunset from the veranda. Playa Grande’s natural setting also means guests may see birds, howler monkeys, geckos or iguanas around the property.

Our on-site manager can arrange private chefs, meal preparation, pre-arrival grocery stocking, spa services and local excursions for an additional charge.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Playa Grande is loved for its wide, uncrowded beach and relaxed atmosphere, approximately one hour from Liberia International Airport and 20 minutes from Tamarindo.

Restaurants, surf shops, yoga, spa services and board rentals are within walking distance.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have private access to the entire villa, its indoor and outdoor living areas, both pools, verandas, grounds, direct beach access and gated off-street parking.

Guest-accessible laundry machines are not available. Laundry service can be arranged through the on-site manager for $10 per load.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

ALL-INCLUSIVE ACCOMMODATIONS: Standard property fees are included in the booking price, with no surprise host charges after booking.

HOUSEKEEPING: Complimentary housekeeping is provided every other day for stays 4 days+.

LAUNDRY: Guest-accessible laundry machines are not available, but convenient laundry service ($10 a load) can be arranged for an additional charge through our on-site manager.

SECURITY: The property has 24-hour staffed security, exterior security cameras and a safe for valuables.

CONCIERGE SERVICES: Our on-site manager can arrange private transportation, including to and from the villa, private chefs, meal preparation, pre-arrival grocery stocking, spa services and local excursions. Additional charges apply. Inquire after booking.

FAMILIES: A Pack ’n Play/travel crib is available upon request. As well as additional items to rent through the concierge services.

COMMUNICATION: After confirmation, we may request an email address so we can send service order forms and direct booking links for excursions or optional amenities.

CURRENCY: Many local services and gratuities are best paid in cash; ATMs are available nearby but may have withdrawal limits.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds are issued according to our cancellation policy, less a 3% processing fee. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance or booking with a credit card that provides travel insurance coverage. Please review your coverage for applicable terms and exclusions.

EVENTS: Weddings, receptions and other events are not permitted at the villas. Wedding guests may stay at the property, with the celebration held at an approved nearby venue.
