"The whole hotel was spotless. The rooms were quiet, I slept very well, and the food was amazing. We were visiting from Houston, Texas, and would definitely like to visit again. "

"A great location with great amenities, near two big grocery stores and lots of places to eat. Perfect for a sightseeing journey around the Welsh Highlands.
They are not terribly responsive via the Expedia app, so don't expect much if you're reaching out that way."

"I booked this property for a 3‑night stay. At first glance, the apartment appears modern, spacious, and well‑designed. Unfortunately, the stay was severely impacted by major cleanliness and hygiene issues, which made the accommodation unsuitable and unsafe.
Bedroom:
The mattress and inner duvet had blood stains, yellow patches, and strands of hair. The duvet covers and pillowcases had a damp, unwashed smell. We had to wash and dry all bedding ourselves just to be able to sleep. The bed is...

"Real hidden gem. Not so interesting from the outside, but very nice inside indeed. All was comfortable with enough space. Big enough for 2 persons with all you can wish for.
The only advice I could give is to have more then just 4 pieces of cups, plates and everything. This can not fill the dishwasher."

"Lovely cabin, plenty of room comfortable bed , nice bathroom with easy to use shower, all other facilities were very good, lovely garden would definitely stay again"
"Very clean and tidy with everything we needed and in a great location by the Castle, the shops, cafes and pubs. Just be aware there are a steep flight of stairs up to the property and then another flight to the bedrooms. Nearest car park is just a couple of minutes walk, costing a little over £16 for a 24 hour stay."
"The lovely cottage was not as clean as it could be. Great location, comfy bed and furniture, finished to a high standard, lovely log burner and decor. "
"The cottage was lovely, beautiful views and very quiet, if that's what you're after, the equipment was first class, especially the tap !!
We had a great time and would stay again no problem."
"A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

This review is from an American's perspective. Our first UK/Wales trip.
This is a class operation. It is a country house, not a hotel. All rooms were different, very nicely appointed and roomy; comfortable beds. No in-room safe. I don't have any reference from other country houses. But in my opinion, five stars all the way.
Common spaces were great. Very nice conservatory, glass on all sides. Formal living room with plenty of seating. Huge, manicured grounds. This is out in the country. Quiet....
