From its industrial past as ‘Brewery Flats’ to its present status as an arts and culture hub, Inglewood is Calgary’s oldest and boldest neighbourhood. Centred along 9th Avenue, Inglewood’s west entrance is located at the significant confluence of the Elbow and Bow Rivers. The Bow River flows by on the north and east ends, the boundaries stretching to the neighbouring community of Ramsay to the south and CP Rail tracks to the north.
The neighbourhood boasts over 240 businesses, including shops, restaurants, boutiques, a broad spectrum of services, live music venues, craft breweries and eateries for residents and visitors alike.
Inglewood is the heart of Calgary’s Music Mile. It is also home to many festivals, including JazzYYC, Sunfest, Car Free Sundays Inglewood Night Market, Fringe Festival, Bleak Midwinter Film Festival, with multiple additional events being hosted in the community throughout the year.

We walked into downtown and visited the Music Museum. We walked the other way down 9th Ave SE for food, shopping, and entertainment. A very nice location.
This was my first time staying in Calgary, and needed a place to stay that was close to my office. Beyond the location, I loved how well decorated and convenient everything was in the apartment. From check-in to checkout I was able to reach the host, who were quite helpful. It was also a lucky coincidence that this place is only a few blocks from Smithbilt hats, which I’ve always wanted to own one and didn’t have to go far to get one. When I have to come back to the area I will definitely book here again.
Attractive, clean, good location, but heat always on.
We liked unit and location. It had all the basics. But apparently the baseboard heat couldn't be turned off, so we had to run the portable a/c even in otherwise comfortable weather.
The stay was great with two exceptions. The location was excellent and the suite itself was fun and packed with all the things needed for a great stay. The host was very responsive. However it wasn’t clear from the listing that the suite was on the second floor with no elevator. This should be presented right up front particularly for those with disabilities or difficulty lifting bags up two flights of stairs. It only became apparent when the check-in instructions were sent after there was no refund. Second the location was very noisy. Train tracks are quite close and could be heard throughout the night. If you’re a heavy sleeper shouldn’t be much of an issue but if not it could be disruptive.
Plenty of space for a solo traveler, great location for my needs. Off street parking spot sold me but it's a small spot so I'm glad I didn't drive my truck. Classic loft style, in need of some small repairs & a new shower curtain liner but pictures are accurate. Responsive management. There's no thermostat, 100 yr old bldg heat registers can't be turned completely off. Had to use the window A/C in October, which felt weird but manageable. Comfortable bed, nice towels. Worked well overall for my short visit.
The loft was well equipped and very clean. Styled extremely well! Love the location. Inglewood is such a great spot. So many fantastic bars, restaurants, shops within walking distance. It was a bit warm in the space but the portable AC took the edge off. I’d stay again!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Did not know about proximity to 3am trains shunting. Had to have the windows open to cool the place down. Central heat without unit control not known until after booking. Rough 5 nights of sleep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is not right in downtown, but close enough to easily walk. It is also basically by the junction of the Elbow and Bow rivers, with parks and trails all around. We had a few questions for Chelsea, and she always responded right away. Overall, a very good stay and a good experience!
Cute little apartment in the Inglewood section of Calgary. Walking distance to The Confluence Center and all of the town’s shops and eateries. The bus stop to Calgary center is across the street! Perfect location. The apartment is spacious and clean with everything you need including a washer and dryer.Couple of drawbacks include the heat and air conditioning. The heat cannot be managed in the unit and we noticed it came on quite a bit when it was already warm. The AC is portable and while it worked, it fought against the heat at times. Minor issue. There are 26 stairs to get up to the second floor which may be difficult for some people especially with luggage.Otherwise, the place is great and the location and price cannot be beat! We’d stay again!
