"This place is quite pleasant and offers excellent service. The breakfast was very good and varied daily. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even took the time to walk us through the property."
"Had a great stay at Potter’s Foothill House. We stayed in the Palisades cottage, which was a quiet, private spot on the beautiful property. Breakfasts were amazing every morning! Highly recommend!!!"
"What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....

"I loved this hotel! Lovely room, comfortable bed perfect location. Calistoga is such a cute little town we enjoyed our stay, and will plan to stay longer next time. I will say that the claw foot tub/shower combo was a bit uncomfortable in that the plastic shower curtain was so "bunchy" that it was difficult to keep it from touching you while you showered. Maybe they could cut the plastic panel a bit to stretch it out? I liked the bath products used--great smelling! The hot springs tub was closed for repairs, which was unfortunate. But the bottle of wine as a consolation prize was well done!"
"Great stay at the Craftsman inn, we appreciated the easy self check-in process and the family feel of the accommodations. The property is older but clean and very nicely renovated with an upscale feel. The amenities offered are well thought-out and convenient, especially the availability of water and access to the shared kitchen to boil a mug of tea or grab a plate 24/7. The only thing we would caution others is that the property is right on HWY 128, which is the main thoroughfare and gets a little loud in the mornings if you're a sensitive sleeper and trying to sleep in."
"Great little spot on the Main Street, was here for a little staycation. Can’t really beat the price, great location and restaurant downstairs is good and has a lovely outdoor patio with good food, drinks, fire pits, and live music. Didn’t notice when booking there’s shared bathrooms but didn’t bother us."
