"I have stayed here a few times now. Rooms are always clean. Their lobby area is beautiful, warm and inviting. They were undergoing a remodel during this visit, but it was not an inconvenience. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you want to visit area trails, Stone Mountain State Park, or historic downtown Elkin. "

"Loved our stay here! It was in a great location for hitting some fishing spots along the creek and very clean! Bed and furnishings were comfortable and kitchen stocked with what you need :) Hot tub was immaculate and communication was great. Not too far from Boone for day trip, but you're down the mountain and it felt like you were away from everything in the best way! "

"Great cabin, very relaxing right on the stream. A little inconvenient to have to take your trash off as the paper on the desk requests, a few cobwebs here and there, tv was filthy and the couch isn’t the most comfortable for sitting bc it’s a sleeper sofa and has been pulled in and out a million times I’m sure but over all my husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend away. "We had a quiet and relaxing weekend. The hosts were available if we needed anything and were responsive to questions. We had everything you would need in the cabin (cooking supplies, toiletries, extra blankets, etc). We liked that it was not too far from town and there were plenty of places near by the explore. It was nice to be able to walk around the property as well. We would stay here again. Thank you for the retreat!"
