"It wasn’t all bad but the place lacked comfort. The only comfortable chairs were on the deck. The futon in the main area was uncomfortable and worn, the beds were metal legs with a wood base with a mattress on it, very uncomfortable. The houseboats were parked right up next to each other and our bedroom was right by someone else’s deck. They were night owls and stayed up until at least 2 am talking. There were three loud a/c units on the houseboat that frequently cycled on and off and when the bedroom one was on, it would drown out their voices but when it was off, which was often, you could clearly hear them even though they were talking in normal tones. I tried changing it to fan only but it got too warm and I settled for turning it as cold as I could stand it so it ran a little bit more. Needless to say I got very little sleep. The houseboat we were in was on the public access channel so there were frequently boats going by while you were sitting on your deck, close enough to slap a high five if you wanted. The houseboat is close to the dock but be aware it goes up and down with the tide, if you have mobility issues you could be making a fairly significant step up or down depending on the time of day. There is also construction going on next door so it’s kind of a mess. We did see Key deer, pelicans, Ibis, and other wildlife which was cool. The place was clean and had good water pressure. If you stay here go to No Name Pub nearby, it’s a cool place."

"We enjoyed our stay in the beach house! The location is perfect, the view from the deck is gorgeous and you are as close to the water as you can get! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Can’t wait to return next year! "

As the for the property amenities - comfortable bed, lots of soft clean towels, big frig and quality kitchen appliances, super nice washer/dryer, and many bonus beach supplies. If you're considering this property, don't hesitate. You can't go wrong!"

"By the description of the property I was was hoping for an amazing experience. The house exterior looked like it was in need of clean up. It just looked like the construction crew left and no one did detail cleaning Our room was on the upper level. It was called the Star room. Apparently there was a methane gas leak somewhere, as our room, the entire stay smelled like an unflushed toilet. It was a lingering odor. We had fans in the room, which helped. The house has this lovely weather vane on the top of the roof, which rotated with the wind. Unfortunately, it needed greasing! It squeaked and made noise all night! I was never able to speak directly to the management. I could only leave a message, and I was never called back. So, if you do rent at this VRBO, be aware,, no management will be of any help. "

"This place was wonderful. Better than expected. I would recommend it to anyone. The property was wonderful and had everything and more. The tiny home we stayed in was spectacular and had so much space. The view was amazing and the everything inside the tiny home was too notch. I definitely will be back "

We were on site for a hour before we were given the remedy to the “door sticking” problem - which we were unaware was even a problem - and could access the property (after being told that we were in a different room on the property and being given the access code to that room also). "I’ll give 5 stars because 99% of the house is good …..but ….fyi for owner ….the mattress in the master bedroom needs to go ….it met its lifespan years ago!!!! "
