The common areas of the hotel, and the old main building especially, are very nice. The staff is helpful and the outdoor area by the pool is in good condition. The rooms in the modern buildings are a bit worn down and could do with a refresh.

No hotel should be this expensive for what it was. The Jacuzzi was ice cold The pool was also unheated in October No drawstrings for the curtains Plumbing issues throughout the whole property Our luggage was misplaced immediately. Upon arrival. It took us 45 minutes to get them back. This Hotel was referred to me through the Michelin guide I feel like they need to refund me! It’s definitely not a Michelin star hotel.

Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr klein. Massagen sind sehr professionell. Die Zimmer im Hauphaus entsprechen dem Rating, die Dependance im hinteren Bereich ist eine Fehlplanung. Room had great views and was quiet and comfortable. As a downside, the metal panels on the balcony above our patio were severely rusted and, in addition to detracting from the visual appeal of the building, it may not be safe. Other than that, I would recommend adding a separate small refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Thanks for your consideration!

Beautiful views and grounds

The hotel is nice and has beautiful grounds, avgerage breakfast and dinner. The value is hard to find considering you can receive actual 5 star service, amenities and cuisine at a Belmond or Four Seasons property for nearly the same rate. Was very dissapointed that they had work being done in our section of the hotel which created a very strong chemical oder in the common areas for the entire stay. Our room was nice and open but the bathroom shower leaked out onto the tiles outside of the shower creating a very hazardous situation and contsant cleaning. The staff did discount the room for the inconvenience and we will focus on the amazing views, super clean sea which we were able to enjoy and the proximity to several sites.

This property is absolutely stunning from the outside, with beautiful architecture, easy ocean access and pristine landscaping. My only two complaints with this property are that the rooms, or at least the ocean view room we stayed in, is quite outdated. With such a beautiful building I would have loved to see more of that Spanish flair and design within the rooms rather than early 2000s yacht chic. My second problem with the hotel is that as a younger guest I don’t feel like you get equal treatment as the 60 crowd that’s there, which this resort mostly seems to cater to.
