"The rooftop jacuzzi room is a 3-star at best. Shoddy patchwork on walls and ceilings. The room had a sofa with stains all over it.The toilet room is so small you can barely move. The staff was not very friendly at all, other than our butler and a couple of the cooks. Vendors are EVERYWHERE and the property does nothing to control their harassment and begging. The food was edible. I would compare it to the food I had on deployment in the Persian Gulf. IF there was queso, it was always cold. The guacamole was virtually non-existent and instead of a true pepperoni pizza, they cut up slices of hot dog and slap it on a pizza crust. Who does that? The steak restaurant is comparable to Outback at best. The sushi is horrible in texture and the Italian restaurant is nothing more than Stouffer’s frozen lasagna, if that. The Adults Only section is NOT Adults Only! We will not be returning to the Majestic or to the Dominican. Once you leave the resort, the place is filthy with people dumping trash wherever there is an opening and is completely run down. "

"As a frequent Expedia traveler, I value the exclusive perks offered worldwide. However, I encountered several issues during my recent stay at this hotel. Firstly, we were subjected to a three-day experience in a hotel where the sea was closed due to a drowning accident. The reason for the closure was not provided, and there was a significant concern regarding the whereabouts of the lifeguards. Secondly, while the Dominican people are generally friendly, the hotel staff’s behavior was inconsistent. They were only polite when we showed interest in their breakfast or engaged in conversations about timeshare matters. Thirdly, the vacations were intended to celebrate my daughter’s fourth birthday, which falls on April 9th. She selected the hotel based on the beach (which was closed) and the children’s club, where she was denied entry because she was still three years old, despite being 361 years old. Fourthly, despite being a VIP guest, I was not recognized or provided with any of the exclusive perks that Expedia offers."

"From the beginning, there was a noticeable lack of customer service. Prior to arrival, I attempted to contact the hotel through Expedia with questions about my upcoming trip, but received no response or lack thereof information. Upon arrival, I was also informed that in order to have our rooms located next to each other, an additional payment was required—despite having already made this request in advance through Expedia. During our stay, the conditions of the room were unacceptable. We encountered centipedes and roaches, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. Additionally, there was a period of time where we did not have access to water for part of the day. Housekeeping was also inconsistent—we repeatedly had to request room cleaning, even when the sign indicating service was clearly displayed. The overall experience at the resort felt heavily focused on upselling rather than guest satisfaction. There was a clear lack of amenities and activities, especially for a weekend stay, which made the environment feel underwhelming and not in line with what was advertised. One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay involved the misleading information provided at the time of booking. When we reserved our stay through Expedia, it was advertised that we would receive a $300 resort credit. However, upon arrival, we were directed to the guest services desk near our room, where we were then told that in order to receive this credit, we would need to atten"

"Communication from property manager not good at all. Lack of support and kept excuses “sorry” for issues in the property. No one from maintenance in the evening. We arrived and there was no water, lack off of communication. No water for about 10ths. Couldn’t use the restroom nor other options were provided. Toilet sit was broken and nothing was mentioned "

"This place was absolutely horrible from the minute. We were trying to check in, which was an hour away cause nobody came and gave us anything to bugs in the room, which were horrible and disgusting to the Wi-Fi not working when I work remotely, which was a big issue refrigerator was not working so we had to throw out food. The property manager was contacted and nothing was ever done and when I spoke to her, she didn’t like what I have to say so she started to insult me by saying that I was a blackmailing her because I said I was gonna write a review. I also have pictures that I would love to post of the nasty little critters that were rolling around the whole kitchen counter. this experience was horrible absolutely horrible. "

"The check in is a nightmare, no staff to guide in the location, to contact is only via WhatsApp and I found out bacause someone told me. We have to pay electricity and a deposit when al ready we in advance paid in full . The electricity was on when we could enter the apartment, 30 minutes later was shut down and by 7 pm came back. Very bad experience. Never more use this kind of concept, there is not value for the money paid. Is better to pay one hotel room with all amenities and solve the problem "
