"We had a swim up suite but the first room they gave us barely fit that description. It was on back side of the property and had a narrow pool 1M wide- not on the main pool as had been picted when we booked. Outdoor bed had mold all over and they never changed sheets dispite us asking each day. They offered to move us but we had to wait 2 days then they told us they put someone in the room they were moving us into and we had to wait another day...The second room was great but first room had mold smell, dirty, broken items, and many other issues. Also weird that none of the patio doors had exterior handles so you have to claw at the glass to get back inside. Staff all acknowledged that the first rooms were much inferior and told us that EVERYONE complains that they were misled at booking. The resort is nice with good food, good pools, good entertainment, good beach access. One other issue was room service. We ordered a pizza one night and they said 45 minutes...it took 1hr30min and we had already gone to bed. "

"I was not impressed with the room cleanliness. When we arrived I had to call the cleaning ladies to come clean the shower that looked like it wasn't clean, the pillow cases on the single bed were dirty and must have not been changed and my daughter noticed on the fan some brown spots which i thought was paint chipped but instead the lady took her broom with a cloth to wipe to see that it was a thick layer of dust and looks like it was never cleaned. There were other spots that needed attention but I didn't want to point out everything. Clearly they don't deep clean their rooms and was disappointed especially for a Royalton that is supposed to be reputable."

"The pool was fine, but unfortunately the rest of the stay was very disappointing. The room was dirty, and it appeared that the bedsheets had not been changed. The fridge was also unclean and still contained used bottles from a previous guest. There were several maintenance issues as well, the shower head was broken and sprayed water toward the ceiling, and the phone in the room did not work. The food was particularly concerning. Out of the six guests in our group, four became sick after eating. Additionally, cleanliness throughout the facility was lacking, with spills left dried on the floors for days. Overall, the experience did not meet basic cleanliness or quality standards. Does not align with the Riu standards. "

"Overall the condo was nice, clean and new. However, amenities were slim. Only 4 bath towels and 4 beach towels. I needed to buy a lot of things I wasn’t expecting. I needed to buy- kitchen towels, bathroom hand towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dish cloth, extra bath towels, more sheets, blankets and pillow cases, garbage bags. Listing said it slept 6 but no extra linens for the pull out bed. Would have been nice to have an instructions on recommendations on where to go to buy things, nearby restaurants, golf cart rental, directions on how to get to the beach and beach club would have been nice too. Communication with host was not great once we arrived."

"Communication from property manager not good at all. Lack of support and kept excuses “sorry” for issues in the property. No one from maintenance in the evening. We arrived and there was no water, lack off of communication. No water for about 10ths. Couldn’t use the restroom nor other options were provided. Toilet sit was broken and nothing was mentioned "

"This place was absolutely horrible from the minute. We were trying to check in, which was an hour away cause nobody came and gave us anything to bugs in the room, which were horrible and disgusting to the Wi-Fi not working when I work remotely, which was a big issue refrigerator was not working so we had to throw out food. The property manager was contacted and nothing was ever done and when I spoke to her, she didn’t like what I have to say so she started to insult me by saying that I was a blackmailing her because I said I was gonna write a review. I also have pictures that I would love to post of the nasty little critters that were rolling around the whole kitchen counter. this experience was horrible absolutely horrible. "

"The check in is a nightmare, no staff to guide in the location, to contact is only via WhatsApp and I found out bacause someone told me. We have to pay electricity and a deposit when al ready we in advance paid in full . The electricity was on when we could enter the apartment, 30 minutes later was shut down and by 7 pm came back. Very bad experience. Never more use this kind of concept, there is not value for the money paid. Is better to pay one hotel room with all amenities and solve the problem "
