"Due to booking on line for some reason it had a different hotel name on the booking so took ages to find. The picture on the front of the add is a local pub so for me false advertising and confusing. Friendly lady that looked after us but was not part of the reception team. "

"Good breakfast, clean rooms. The building is from the 80's but all of the rooms I have stayed in have been refurbished and are quite good. Hard to beat the included breakfast and short walk to the nearby restaurant and bar filled streets. Aircon and wifi work great. I've stayed multiple times and will be back again."

"Every time I’ve stay at the Avenue Hotel previously ( a lot ) With the level I have with hotels.com I’ve always had complimentary park included For some reason this was refused Hotel staff told me I would have to take it up with hotel.com Which attempted to call a number of time, but also emailed what had happened But nothing Subsequently I had to pay $60 more than what I had originally allowed for My boss wasn’t extremely unhappy with me and Hotels.com"

"Overall I was happy with the hotel, unfortunately we had some items in the kitchen that were left dirty and stains on one of the doona covers. Other than that the rooms were clean and hotel was nicely located for our itinerary. Gym had everything I personally required and appeared clean "

"Great location walking distance to CBD and restaurant. Room was clean and a good size with a small kitchen. Only down fall was our AC wasn’t working so a fan was offered. "
