"My family had such a wonderful time staying here for the week! You get the best of both worlds -- mountain living yet only 12 minutes to downtown Burnsville and 45 min to Asheville! The creek was a massive source of entertainment for my kids 3,6& 8. And we thoroughly enjoyed nightly Foosball games as a family My kids are already asking to come back Also, the house was not only spotless but the decor was so cute and cozy -- truly a home away home! Do not sleep on this property!"

"My husband and I spent the month of July relaxing in delight at Deer Haven Cabin, away from the Florida heat! We barbecued, used the fire pit, and spent many evenings sitting in the well-maintained hot tub while we watched fireflies and counted the many stars! The cooler mountain days and nights on the amazing wrap-around porch were totally captivating, as we brought our Bird Buddy camera bird feeder and a couple of hummingbird feeders and caught so much of the local bird activity. We took countless photos of the many deer who make their home on this mountain. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfy. There were some maintenance issues that we feel were the result of shorter-term guests who did not communicate them to the very responsive property management team. For the benefit of future guests, the steep gravel driveway to the cabin was a bit scary to me, and every floor in this quaint cabin squeaks when you walk, Modern electronics and good Internet service rounded out this memorable trip for us! Worthy of your attention for sure!"

"Our group of 16 thoroughly enjoyed Heavenly Heights. The cabin in the mountains offers incredible views from the spacious deck and stunning picture windows. The layout was perfect for our group, allowing each family to have their own space. The teens made use of the hot tub, we grilled on the Blackstone, and made gourmet coffee every morning at the extensive coffee bar. The .5 mile gravel road up to the cabin is no joke, especially after a flash storm. One van needed to be pushed through a rough spot and the runners in our group found it challenging to get in a good run, but that’s the trade-off for such a view. HH is close to Ingals, 45 min from Asheville, and about 1.5 hours from Mount Mitchell. We made excursions daily and retreated home to our cabin for dinner together at the huge farmhouse table and wrapped up each night with stargazing from the aforementioned deck. Vik is responsive and truly made every effort to make our stay excellent."

"For us the covered deck made our stay! Early morning coffee with the birds calling. Lunch or dinner following the clouds over the mountains. Enjoying a glass wine with the rain drops and the rainbow!The hot tub was pristine! And communications were exceptional."

"My family and I were very happy with our choice to stay at this property. Well maintained, nice amenities, beautiful setting. This location was central for our plans as we went to Mt. Mitchell, Linville Falls, and Blowing Rock. I would recommend this home for anyone. We would absolutely stay here again in the future."

"This property was all anyone could ever ask for. We enjoyed all the different seating choices outside with different views. It was so peaceful and quiet. Each of us ladies had our own bedroom and I haven’t slept this well in years. Needless to say I hated to leave. The goats made us feelWelcome and we enjoyed interacting with them."
